SELECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Spearheaded projects in design phase to get an understanding of the owners

needs, ensured the owners needs were met on the plans. Reviewed plans

thoroughly to make sure it is buildable and all the details were on the

plans for most conditions. Researched for ways to add value to the building

and project, reviewed RFI'S and change orders. Established working

schedules and assigned revenue to the time line. Led all on site

activities from the first shovel of dirt to the last touch up of paint.

Result: Completed the project on time and under budget.

Developed and implemented a superintendent's manual. This manual is used

nation wide by all of the companies' superintendents. With every one on the

same page, using the same filing system, made projects run smoother as well

as establishing a folder system for the computer. Result: Reduced time and

costs from numerous projects and reduced employee turn-over.

Initiated an electrical specification; collaborated with the electrical

engineer to develop complete section, keeping in mind the further build out

of Tenant Improvements and the existing systems of the Property Manager.

Result: Savings to the building owner and manager

Managed all M.E.P. trades on a complex four story building complete with a

computer room and call center. Communicated complex details to lead foremen

to coordinate equipment installation and testing. Result: Completed the

project early and on budget.

Collaborated with another superintendent in California on a computer room

project for an important customer. Completed the room set up and ran three

weeks early, the customer used this time to commission his equipment early

and completed a change over early. Result: This made it possible to

continue with the construction without major delays and every one was

happy.

Took charge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing for a complex project. The

electrical contractor was having problems keeping up with the project; then

the contractor went out of business. Established a agreement with a new

contractor, this took time and perseverance. Result: The job still made 6%

and was only two weeks behind rather than 8 weeks.
