Specific Experience

PRINCIPLE SPECIALIST, COST CONTROL, Procter & Gamble, Bear River City, UT

(May 2009- Present)

Managed both cost and scheduling functions for a $359MM grassroots paper

facility. Utilized Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software

to develop and mange the construction schedule and start-up/commissioning

schedule. Produced monthly cost reports using JD Edwards as well as client

specified cost reports. Presented both cost and scheduling on weekly and

monthly basis both internally and to clients.

SENIOR PROJECT CONTROLS LEAD, Wink Companies, Baton Rouge, LA

(May 2007 - March 2009)

Directed project controls team for the largest single project in Wink

Companies history. Responsible for the scheduling, change management, cost

analysis and projections. Oversaw the work effort and deliverables for 4

project controls specialists. Provided cost, performance, productivity and

scheduling reports on a weekly, biweekly and monthly basis. Prepared

monthly high-level management presentation for all aspects of the project.

(January 2006- April 2007)

Responsible for all estimating, cost control and planning/scheduling for

maintenance and small cap projects at a chemical plant; utilized Primavera

for scheduling; Responsible for cost projections for maintenance backlog

lists for 6 units; Scheduled and planned maintenance backlog for 6 units;

Updated and maintained both cost data as well as scheduling data. Utilized

SAP Procurement and Accounting Modules, Primavera 3.1, JD Edwards Cost and

Accounting software.

PROJECT MANAGER, James Construction Group, Baton Rouge, LA,

(January 2005-January 2006)

Estimate, plan, schedule, manage all aspects of earthwork and gypsum work

project for clients ranging from Louisiana to Florida, provided cost

management, vendor invoices, client billings, interact with the client on a

regular basis to ensure satisfaction with quality and timeliness of

projects. Utilized Heavy Bid (HCSS) estimating and cost control software,

Primavera 3.1 and Microsoft Projects scheduling software.

COST ENGINEER, Jacobs Engineering, Indianapolis, IN,

(February 2003-January 2005)

Responsible for Cost Analysis, Forecasting and Reporting for 2 $100+MM

projects at a pharmaceutical plant; Maintained Change Order Status as well

as provided Change Order Forecasting; Helped establish standard cost codes

for client to use across all projects; used Prolog software extensively in

projecting and reporting of costs; Developed and maintained subcontract

status reports; extensive SAP experience in both forecasting and reporting

to client. Utilized Primavera 3.1 scheduling software for developing the

initial project schedule.

Prairieville, LA, (December 2001-January 2003)

Developed and managed planning, scheduling and cost control department,

built and updated manpower loaded schedules, took lead in pre-job meetings

and in development of master construction plan, monitored cost reports,

presented department presentation to clients. Used Microsoft Projects as

well as Primavera 3 to develop schedules. Developed within Microsoft Access

the Cost Control system to help 3 separate accounting systems to be pulled

together into one tool.
