WORK EXPERIENCE

Correctional Officer January 2008 - February 2010 Prince William Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center Manassas, VA

I was responsible for the care and custody of inmates, supervising inmates in all facets of correctional institutional life. I have the ability

to enforce institutional rules firmly and fairly; I was responsible for obtaining the ability to detect potential behavior problems of

inmates, as well as to detect the early symptoms of common health problems; I am able to carry out oral and written directions

accurately; ability to supervise the activities of large groups of inmates; ability to prepare records and reports; ability to establish and

maintain an effective working relationship with other employees.

Kitchen Supervisor July 2007 - January 2008 Prince William Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center Manassas, VA

I was responsible for supervising up to 15 inmate workers while they prepared daily meals. I also maintained basic kitchen utensils and

made sure that everything was accounted for.

I was responsible for entering sales into the company system, I also audited sales to make sure customer information was accurate.

I was responsible making sure that cashier registers were correct at the end of every shift. I also prepared bank deposits and change

orders. I was responsible for counting the safe at the beginning and end of my shift.

My main interest is spending time with my 3 children, and when I can read a good book.
