Work History:

1996 - Present; Self Employed. Using my Sales, Production Management experience and

Skills, Brokering and Selling a Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) building system for Residential

and Commercial applications Nation wide. Ordering, setting up delivery, Organizing,

scheduling, Quality Assurance and Safety. Customer, Architect, General Contractor relations.

On-site consultation, Supervising and training Construction crews in hands-on erection of the

Panel system, to ensure the SIP system was put together properly to meet or exceed their local

city and/or State Codes. Showing Contractors the advantages in; time management and

efficiency, using smaller crews ( from 10- 15 down to 4 or 5 ), building higher quality structures

in less time with less waste at lower cost. Additional duties included; backhoe, forklift

operations, design, bidding, budgeting and cost break-downs, reading and understanding blue-

prints and Structural Engineering.

1983-1992 ; Optical Retail & Laboratory Operations / Production Manager.

Worked my way up in the field of Optics, attaining a B.S. equivalent through nine ( 9 +) years

continuing education. Lab Manager/ Retail Store Manager /Troubleshooter - Supervising 25 to

30 Retail and lab personnel in fast paced production environment of prescribed eye wear for up

to ten ( 10 ) locations, ensuring ANSI National Standards and State requirements were being

met, and/or exceeded. Developed training program for store and lab personnel, restructured lab

for optimized (lean) production work flow, increasing efficiency and time management, while

decreasing waste, improved product delivery time and increased customer satisfaction. Improved

facility P&L while expanding referral and repeat business base. Additional responsibilities

included: Inventory Control, machine maintenance, Doctor/ Customer relations, Safety, Quality

Assurance, H.R. and Administration duties to include; hiring, personnel evaluations, handling

personnel disputes, counseling, terminations.
