entering the codes into a main-frame computer on a monthly basis, as well
as downloading data from the mainframe into a PC-based spreadsheet for

based customer complaint system that greatly simplified analysis and

1982. Performed a design analysis of mechanical systems for large
industrial plants. Held responsibility for the selection of all mechanical
equipment for the belt and chain conveyor systems. Wrote specifications
for the design of belt and chain conveyor systems. Developed an
engineering standards manual for the mechanical engineering department,
including design aids, drafting standards, and standard procedures.
Contributed to the development of in-house computer programs for
calculating belt conveyor motor horsepower and belt tensions for sizing
shafts for conveyor systems. Designed belt conveyors as well as vertical
curves for conveyors.
