Skill Set/Competencies

Strengths include analytical skills and the ability to understand and write

about complex concepts very quickly-summarizing technical information in

non-technical terms without changing its essential meaning. I learn new

computer skills and software programs very quickly, and constantly strive

to challenge my own learning potential in technical arenas. Through

graduate training and consulting work I have used multiple software

programs to create technical reports, charts, graphs and presentations. I

am a detail-oriented person who takes pride in producing technically

accurate, stunning reports and graphical products.

I have hired and supervised 41 employees, and provided individual,

classroom and telephone-based training, technical assistance and customer

service on computer and research topics to employees and clients. The wide

variety of consulting activities I have completed during the past twenty

years attests to my flexibility and the speed with which I can acquire new

skills and knowledge.

As a result of my background in criminology and three previous jobs in the

criminal justice system, I have successfully passed criminal background

checks and personality profile tests. I also have a strong interest in

computer security issues.
