MAIN PROJECTS
. Designed an online bookstore website similar to real-life
applications using JavaScript and JSP based on of SQL Server 2000 and
Apache. JDBC was used to access the database and CSS was used to make
the website attractive: it realizes most of functions a real online
bookstore website, such as Amazon, can do.
. Achieved programs of a simple FTP client and a simple HTTP server
with Java language: Swing component of Graphic User Interface in Java
was used to provide a user-friendly interface.
. Designed and implemented a simple SQL interpreter which is able to
execute some queries that are valid in terms of SQL grammar and
output the result of the executions: the program is more than 3000
lines with, and supports join operations among multiple tables and
some query optimization methods.
. Developed a program of task manager in Linux operating system under
the complier of GCC with C language, which is nearly the same as the
one of operating system Linux itself.
. Realized a program that is able to monitor objects and detect their
illegal movement in multimedia sources.
. Accomplished a C++ program that is able to detect the fingertips
under complex illumination situations and low contrast between
background and objects: algorithms about pattern recognition and
template matching are the significant part of the program.
