control, scheduling, procurement and document control. Developed budgets and schedules for
engineering and construction projects. Developed and managed change orders, cost tracking reports,
graphical representations of project status, man-power needs, earned values and labor efficiencies.
Interfaced with accounting and IT departments to streamline project reporting and data flow.
The Star Design Corporation 2003-2005
General Contractor-General construction services, concrete, steel fabrication and metal buildings.
Accomplishments: Managed all aspects of a profitable small business: sales, design, estimating,
management. Licensed with La. State Board of Contractors in general construction, heavy industrial

River Parish Contractors 2000-2003
Sr. Estimating and Project Manager-Responsibilities included site surveys and preparation of budget
estimates for general and industrial construction projects, project management of project execution.

project estimates, coordination of field and office activities, cost revisions, change orders,
development of estimating and operating procedure standards and controls.
Parsons Engineering 1996-1998
Field Engineer-Field engineer/construction management for the LIGO (Laser Interferometer
Gravitational Wave Observatory) Project. Contracted to Cal Tech University to build facilities and
install mechanical equipment. Duties included the following: Coordination and scheduling of
contractors and activities; QC, production, performance meetings, managed cost, revisions, change
estimates and information requests to insure compliance with design and specification criteria.
Corso Fabricators 1994-1996
Project Mgr. -- Managed miscellaneous industrial, oilfield and commercial fabrication and
construction projects for a fabrication/machine shop. Responsibilities included client relations, sales,
job cost estimating, scheduling, QC, production and cost management.
International Salt Co. Inc. 1984-1986
Construction Superintendent---Supervised sub-contractors, steel erectors, welders, carpenters,
mechanics, electricians, operators and labor in an underground construction project.
Accomplishments: Constructed a materials handling system consisting of crushers, conveyors,
screens, hoists and associated structure to process salt from the -900' level of mine to the surface.
Brown and Root, Inc. 1982-1984
Yard Superintendent---Supervised fabrication, painting, and shipping and receiving in the manufacture
of industrial, oil field processing equipment and piping. Accomplishments: Profitably manufactured
ASME coded vessels, piping and many varied and misc. industrial steel products.
