* Responsible for Daily production goals based on customer demand,

* Budget control for the Production departments (GM and Ford). Publish
and maintain Operational graphs.
* Design validation and troubleshooting. Function as Liaison between
Manufacturing Engineering, Assembly Operations, Quality Control,
Cooperate Design Engineering, Material and Production Control at plant
and customer level.
* Develop Production ramp-up schedule and coordination of all sample
builds.
* Analyze time and motion studies to determine feasibility and cost
effectiveness of the different operations in the assembly process.
* Material utilization, efficiency, Scrap, PPM's etc.
* Review and adjust Manning and line balance with customer releases and
plant goals.
* Review and coordinate Engineering changes, including, raw materials and
finished goods, minimizing obsolescence exposure for plant fault claims.
* Tool and fixture review and design for production line readiness.
Special projects included:
* Develop and Implement TS 16949 and ISO-14001 procedures to industry
standards.
* Production scheduling. Implementation of 5's principles. Value Stream
Mapping (VSM) Implementation of Lean MFG. Principles, TPM and VAVE.
* Coordinated P.S.O audits at supply base.
* Launch of DCX RS mini-van. Ford Freestar mini-van, Saturn Vue and Saturn
Ion Programs, coordinated hiring and training of required personnel for
two shifts.
