Served as the Assistant Vice President of Southern Operations for CEI, a full-service environmental
and industrial hygiene consulting firm. Managed the Charlotte, North Carolina branch office while
charged with business development and operational performance and oversight for work performed in
the Southeastern United States. Conducted field and reporting services for environmental due
diligence, occupational exposures, and industrial hygiene studies. Managed and administered
occupational training courses primarily geared for healthcare construction, certification preparation,
and occupational hazard awareness. Developed healthcare construction and mold certification
preparatory courses for the firm. Also designed and administered corporate website.
Director Charlotte Operations June 2001 – April 2008
The EI Group, Morrisville NC
Managed a full-service EH&S consulting office located in Charlotte, North Carolina for a national
consulting firm. Administered office operations, performed client development and maintenance, and
was responsible for the operations’ efficiency and bottom-line profitability for approximately $1m of
annual gross revenues. Integrated local resources (administrative, technical, and sales/marketing)
based upon corporate directives and economic drivers. Provided technical oversight for training,
industrial hygiene, and environmental due diligence departments. Conducted industrial hygiene and
environmental services (including assessment, design and remediation of occupational stressors in the
industrial, commercial, and residential settings) and trained support staff to perform services.
Extremely experienced in indoor air quality studies, asbestos/lead-based paint/mold assessment,
remediation designs, and training, ASTM and state-compliance Phase I & II Environmental Site
Assessments, and ASTM-modeled Property Condition Assessments.
Environmental Services Manager December 1998 – June 2001
Titan Atlantic Group (now Terracon), Charlotte NC
Managed a team of environmental and industrial hygiene professionals and technicians. Served as
Principal Scientist for the branch office. General duties included the administration, performance and
direction of environmental consulting services, including Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site
Assessments, Underground Storage Tank remediation services, asbestos monitoring, survey and
design, indoor air quality studies, and various occupational exposure studies. Responsible for project
management, regional marketing efforts, contract review, and overall departmental profitability.
Principal technical consultant for asbestos and industrial hygiene services.
Industrial Hygiene Services Manager December 1992 – December 1998

Managed industrial hygiene consulting services and served as senior industrial hygiene technician.
Served as Safety Coordinator for up to 30 employees, conducting safety training, accident reporting,
and safety audits. Performed asbestos and lead paint building surveys and abatement designs for
commercial, governmental, and industrial clients. Conducted air quality studies, radon testing noise
surveys, and occupational exposure monitoring of various workplace stressors.
Senior Environmental Technician August 1988 – November
2002
Advanced Analytical Laboratories, Virginia Beach VA
Performed facility asbestos and lead paint surveys, and monitored abatement projects. Conducted
field testing and laboratory analysis of air samples. Responsible for scheduling and training of
technical staff, performance of laboratory QA/QC, and also assisted with the day-to-day branch office
operation.
