SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS

. Implemented a managed health care program achieving cost savings of

$810,000 in the first year which was a reduction of 15% from the previous

year;

. Communicated company-wide to employees the introduction of an employer-

funded 401(k) retirement savings benefit plan which replaced a company

defined benefit pension plan. Change reduced the company's liability to

the volatility of stock market investments and future pension costs.

Pension plan frozen to new entrants which reduced pension costs by

$900,000 in the first three years and $200,000 every year thereafter;

. Directed team to implement networked HRIS-payroll-time & attendance

system for all U.S. regions, including the centralization of payroll at

the corporate office resulting in company-wide reduction of ten

headcount;

. Led the North American HR team to demerge a manufacturer section of the

company by December 2005 and in 2006

led the working group that amended employee share plans following the

delisting on the NYSE of the parent company, Bunzl plc. All deadlines

met on both projects;

. Conducted due diligence on over 10 acquisitions in the last 8 years

resulting in fewer employment and benefit plan liabilities. Spearheaded

communication programs for transition of new employees into the Bunzl

culture;

. Created performance management process with preparation of development

plans linked to competencies of job. Evaluated training needs through

analysis of ratings on the competencies with two Division Presidents.

End result was improving the bench strength to support the succession

plan for the company;

. Implemented basic management training programs to develop manager skills:

and successful hiring of replacements. Organic sales increased over 15%

since inception of the training;

Management Trainee program including training and placement of General

Manager trainees, Procurement Manager trainees, Sales Manager trainees,

and Warehouse Manager trainees. Over 100 trainees successfully placed

during 12 years increasing bench strength throughout the company;

. Designed with outside training vendor, programs on how to deal with

change to be delivered to managers and employees of Bunzl newly acquired

companies with the outcome of a smoother transition for these employees;

Novus International is a leading developer of animal health and nutrition

programs for the poultry, pork, beef, dairy, aquaculture, and companion

animal industries with just less than $1 billion in revenue. The company

employs over 550 people globally and is privately owned by Mitsui & Co.

(U.S.A.), Inc. and Nippon Soda Co., Ltd. Novus has more than 25 locations

around the world and clients in over 90 countries. Responsible for a

corporate and international HR (Asia, Europe, South America) staff of 13

people with five direct reports.

BUNZL North America, St. Louis, MO - 5/93 to 11/08:

Corporate Director of HR & Benefits, St. Louis, MO - 5/1996 to 11/2008

Bunzl North America (BNA) is a $3 billion revenue procurement, warehousing

and distribution business. The business is a subsidiary of Bunzl plc, a UK

quoted company, and runs as an autonomous business with little parent

company control. BNA employs approximately 3,500 people across US, Canada

and Mexico. Responsible for the strategic direction of the North America

HR function. Leadership responsibility for a corporate HR staff of 17

people with four direct reports and a regional HR team of nine with

Corporate HR budget of three million dollars. Additional oversight of 22

million dollar benefit budget with responsibility of negotiating rates with

benefit vendors.

HR Manager, Bunzl Northeast Region-So. Brunswick, NJ - 5/1993 to 4/1996

Managed the full scope of the Human Resources function for 500 employees at

seven locations throughout the Northeast. Extensive recruiting, sourcing,

interviewing and selection of people at all levels. Trained leadership on

the basics of interviewing, hiring and orientation. Managed the

disciplinary and grievance process for six union locations and one non-

union location. Managed team in development of a contingency crisis

management plan for potential labor disruption.

Generated training programs required by government regulations (OSHA) and

company mandates while employed as a contract employee in the site training

department. Compiled database for all required training for every job

position at the Rahway facility.

Participated and negotiated as a member of the management team for the

Daily News with the Paper Handlers & Straighteners Union and the IAM

(International Association of Machinists). Contributed in contingency

planning/crisis management during one of the longest newspaper strikes in
