2009

Quality Technician II (2006-2009)

Oversaw the collecting and cataloging of parts for outsource inspection.

Completed Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and assured that incoming

parts met the acceptable quality level (AQL). Recorded process analysis

using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Mini tab. Identified problems and

solutions in the manufacturing of residential circuit breakers. Operated

hardness, through hardness, and file hardness test equipment. Proficient in

the use of GD and T of prints, calipers, height gage, pin gauges, no/go

gauges, force test gauge, and comparator. Maintained blue prints and

certification files. Developed inspection training program for union

employees.

. Successfully maintained ISO 9002 certification through continuously

monitoring quality processes.

. Achieved a cost savings of $12,500 annually for quality department by

improving quality of product.

inspection process for heat treated parts.

Responsible for incoming inspection of parts and materials from outside

vendors. Worked directly with over 250 vendors solving problems with

material and parts, insuring that production needs were met on time.

Communicated with Logistics to insure vender production parts were

inspected on time.

$10K annually by improving molds and reducing run time

use of inserts and correcting mold set-up procedures.
