Quality control inspector/safety coordinator

This is a commercial janitorial cleaning service in twin cities. It

also offers a wide variety of ancillary services including, janitorial,

carpet and floor services, garage maintenance, clean room cleaning,

landscaping/ground keeping and green cleaning. As inspector/safety

coordinator my duties include: inspecting buildings as per customers

specifications on daily basis, formulating report that recognize the areas

that need immediate attention, provide immediate and proper custodial care

for those areas. At the end of the month report my findings to the quality

manager, account manger and to the customer's representative.

Conduct monthly safety meetings/training with all cleaners, inform

all safety issues, proper lifting, Personal Protective Equipment, MSDS

book,( its use and location), proper cleaning techniques, buildings or

specific area specifications and conduct blood pathogen trainings to

supervisors and all cleaners annually.

Introduce 6 S and lean production; this is a process to help support the

Quality Assurance /Back up Trainer

This is a medical company that manufactures variety of delicate

medical devices all for human use. That being the case following of laid

down protocols; procedure, policies and codes are tantamount to any step

of production. Used different measuring tools from micrometers,

microscope, comparator, viscon, Johnson gages, pitch micrometer,

calipers, CRM's, smart scopes and CV's (Avant and Nikon) to inspect

parts.

Responsibilities varied from product builder up to being a backup

trainer for product builders and QA trainees. Cutting of stent's, (very

small devices that are put into human beings blocked vein/arteries)

measuring of length, weight, looking for patterns, inspecting using

microscope and magnified classes for defects, then do the cleaning and

packaging to our top assembly for catheter production. Also used laser

machines for the cutting of different purposes cutting stents and

measuring of different magnitudes

Main responsibility for being aback-up trainer was to train

product builder to be QA, training them on inspection, use of scope and

determining between scraps and usable products. Helped trainees to be

qualified inspectors

Performed chemical handling for one year, responsibilities included:
