1/2009 - 10/2009 AL JAFAR CONSTRUCTION (AMMAN,

JORDAN)

Position: Site Engineer / Structural for the following projects

(simultaneously):

Project: Al Rukban Interchange ($ 8 Million): Full cloverleaf

interchange, cast in-situ Girders Bridge. Project: Sharq City

Infrastructure ($ 14 Million) : Construction of Elevated water tank (700

Cu.m), communication and electricity lines, water and sewer mains

(Concrete, Ductile Iron& Polyethylene), roads, Box culverts and Retaining

walls.

Bar bending schedule preparation, supervised site works and coordinated

with subcontractors (construction of the Bridge, Elevated water tank, Water

and sewer lines, retaining walls, box & pipe culverts, grouted/ loose

Riprap protection, Footpaths, waterproofing and insulation).

Project: Interchange No 8 on Sheikh Zayed Road ($175 Million) :

Construction of 23 cast in-situ post tensioned box girder bridges (4100 m)

and Widening of Sheikh Zayed Road (4 to 6 lanes, 10 km). Duration: two

years, Engineer: Cansult Manusell /AECOM, Position: Civil Engineer, Site

coordinator / bridges. (Assigned from Amman office to support the project

start-up).

Coordinated with site engineers, subcontractors, 3rd party contractors,

office (design) and the Engineer.

Designed traffic diversions, planned test piles and borehole locations to

ensure accessibility and minimum equipment mobilization.

Minimized machineries idle time /mobilization by scheduling their tasks and

areas of operations.

Liaised with local Authorities & utilities companies to obtain "no

objection certificates (NOC's)".

Arranged concrete orders and deliveries.

Scheduled, tracked, and logged daily construction work. Supervised trail

trenches, soil investigation, earthworks, piling (up to dia 2400 mm), pile

caps, piers, superstructure, and the protection of existing utilities in

pile caps.

January - March 2006

Participated in the bidding of civil works for "Jumairah Sewage Treatment

Plant, capacity 220,000 m3/ day MBR process". Assisted in the estimation,

quantity surveying and method statements.

preparation, tender risk assessment, Evaluation, qualification & selection

of possible subcontractors & suppliers for several projects in (Armenia,

Successfully promoted the following feasibility studies for the landfill

gas capture and electricity generation for the implementation of CDM (Clean

Developments Mechanism) projects under Kyoto Protocol:
