I am interested in your position as a therapist. I am currently working as
a registered Mental Health Counselor intern at the Jewish Family Children's
Services to get licensed, and have been there since September 2009. I also
will be starting my dissertation for my Doctor of Education in Counseling
Psychology, approximately May 2010. I have completed all classes for my
doctorate degree.
I have worked with a wide range of clients, such as Bipolar, substance
abuse, depression, sexual, emotional, and physical abuse, as well as many
other mental illnesses. I feel very confident as a therapist, and am good
at what I do.
Personal
I am married with four grown children, and have over 25 years of experience
working in the public field.

During my internship at the Jewish Family Children's Services and The

The Wellness Community
The Wellness Community included counseling cancer patients or care-givers
in an environment where emotions ran high, with the constant threat of
death and dying. Common psychiatric disorders included: anxiety, mood
disorders, cognitive disorders, and substance abuse, but included a need
for the knowledge of Oncology and the dimensions of cancer symptom
management.
