. Responsible for quality and engineering issues for weather strips/seals

(variety of over 40 part product designs) installed on Ford Super Duty

(P356) and Expedition/Lincoln Navigator (U22X).

. Successfully launched 2008 P356 in January 2007 and 2009.5 U22X in March

. Review FEA for current production parts for proposed engineering changes

and for future products.

. Develop engineering changes to address warranty, fit/function, and

assembly issues using Ford WERS system.

. Use blueprints to check whether parts are to print; mark up prints to

make required changes.

. Dispute resolution of QR's (quality rejects); negotiate lower PPM's with

KTP IQ and STA.

. Visit Henniges Automotive plants to review manufacturing process and

recommend process improvements.

systems to support dependent projects and their customers, Volvo, Jaguar,

and Land Rover.

. Develop sensor system requirements, sensor context diagrams (software

system inputs, functions, and outputs), Concept FMEA (Failure Mode and

Effects Analysis), and target selection requirements.

. Work with multiple suppliers developing sensors and members of other

projects requiring external sensing. Perform sensor testing to evaluate

performance.

. Track budget and work with Finance to document expenses and planning
