new Maxxforce engine platforms in existing Monaco RV product.

- Consulted with and provided concept design solutions to various

companies including:

Dalecraft Industries, Mills Manufacturing Inc., and Country Coach.

- Created geometry for both vacuum molded and injection molded plastic

parts for consumer goods in

the landscaping and restroom equipment industries.

- Used new composite materials to improve fit, finish, and

functionality of new custom car bodies.

- Provided customer care to Monaco and Country Coach RV OEM's by

building strong relationships and

acting as the single point of contact for all issues relating to

Caterpillar engines, transmissions and

cooling systems.

- Presented to dealer management explaining new product changes and new

service procedures.

- Attended OEM Rallies to meet with customers and answer questions

about the product.

- Defined the OEM's unique engine/transmission configurations to

overcome compatibility challenges.

- Managed changes to Caterpillar options and systems that impact the

OEM and provided detailed

location, and assisted with data

recording, dyno operation, driving, instrumentation, and parts

Lead Resident Design Engineer - OHEPG, Kirkland, WA

- On-site Design Lead during 2003 ACERT Installation Project. Assigned

duties to other

designers as required and controlled Pro/E Wildfire engine model

updates in Pro/Intralink.

- Worked with OEM to package the new diesel engine and support

components into Kenworth chassis.

- Designed all parts required for complete engine installation

including water pipes, air pipes, mounts,

brackets, fan shrouds, heat exchangers, clutch linkages,

dipsticks, exhaust pipes, etc.

- Designed custom parts for special purpose, experimental, and race

trucks, including a dry sump oil

system, intake air shutdown system, hydraulic pump adapters, etc.

- Investigated feasibility of various CAT options required for

successful Kenworth implementation and

did the concept modeling of new CAT parts when required.

Design Engineer - Cab Interior and Powertrain Groups, Kirkland, WA

- Used Pro/Engineer to design all required parts for new engine

installations.

- Used Pro/Surface to design interior "Class A" surface panels, plastic

trim pieces, and board-foam-vinyl

interior wall panels for new T2000 cab interior.

Contract to Currency Systems International (CSI), Oct 1996 - Jun 1997

Research and Development Engineer - Irving, TX

- Used Pro/Engineer to design vacuum feeder unit for a high-speed paper

currency sorting system.

- Created stereolithography files to make rapid prototype parts.

- Built test bench by hand, installed prototype parts, and conducted

testing of components.

- Designed injection molded plastic air intake manifold.

- Used Pro/Sheetmetal to package electro-mechanical components, PCB

assemblies, and controls for

the system Electronic Control Module.

- Calculated the required air flow and heat transfer, determined proper

fan size, and designed a system

to cool the electronic components in the machine, keeping them within

specified thermal limits.

- Calculated pulley ratios and specified drive motors for note delivery

unit.

- Designed pneumatic system to clean detector lenses for sorting unit.

- Designed brackets for heat exchangers, filters, tanks, and other
