Objective

To find a new and lucrative career where I can fully utilize my

turbine engine expertise and management skill set to help take your

company to the next level.

Experience

June 2008 - Marine Turbine Technologies Franklin, LA

Current

Engine Shop Manager

I handle all duties required to run my engine shop with due diligence,

from customer service, procurement, production scheduling, quality,

budgetary concerns, and field service for Honeywell T55's, T53's, and

Rolls Royce/Allison 250 engine lines.

Since taking the position, I have implemented both a quality system as

well as an inventory system.

I have improved first pass yield rate to 100%, as well as implementing

a paperwork system to ensure all engines are built to customer

specifics, the 1st time, every time.

August 2006-May Honeywell Intl Greer, SC

2008

Production cell leader

As production cell leader, I was responsible for 25 1st shift

technicians in the T55 engine cell where we performed repair and

overhaul for the US Army as well as foreign militaries and

governments.

My daily duties included a beginning of shift production meeting with

the engine technicians where we covered safety, production needs,

quality, as well as any concerns that needed to be raised to upper

management.

While serving as production cell leader, I was on a team to write and

implement an ISO procedure re-write to better utilize our team

strengths and to better meet customer requirements. I was also

responsible for implementing lean manufacturing principles while

implementing the Honeywell Operating System where we went to a lean

pull through production line instead of a two man team push production

area. During this implementation, we were able to increase engine

throughput as well as increase the cell's first pass yield rate.

Jan 2004-August Honeywell Intl Greer, SC

2006

Cell production scheduler

As production cell scheduler, I worked closely with customer service,

supply chain, and the production cell leader to ensure all customer

and site requirements were met.

My daily duties included attending the beginning of shift production

meeting, as well as higher tier production meetings to help ensure the

production area had all resources needed to meet customer requirements

by utilizing Honeywell's MRP ProIV Glovia as well as Cognos reports

for part tracking through the production area.

I used past repair trends, as well as OEM bill of materials to

forecast parts needs for the week, month, and annual needs. This was

forecasted using MS Access, our MRP, and feedback from customer

service detailing what the customer requirements would be going

forward. I was also responsible for making sure our KanBan

requirements were set to a weekly fill basis.

May 2000-Jan 2004 Honeywell Intl Greer, SC

Engine Technician

I was part of the turbofan/turbo-shaft engine repair and overhaul

cell.

My daily duties included working as a 2-man team, inside of the engine

cell where my partner and I were responsible for our assigned engine

from receipt through shipping the engine back to the customer. We

would disassemble, clean, inspect, disposition, repair, and

re-assembly of the engine, through shipment.

April 1998-May 2000 Honeywell Intl

Started working at Honeywell as a college co-op where average time

from Co-op to full time was 1 year, I went to full time in August of

1998

Worked primarily in compressor cell as a disassembly/assembly

technician, where I de-bladed and bladed compressor rotors, as well as

OD tip grinding and balancing.

After 6 months full time, I progressed into the position of 2nd shift

production scheduler where I was responsible for ensuring customer

requirements were met on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and

yearly basis. Worked closely with site leadership, customer service,

and procurement groups.
