CALPIPE FABRICATION (Placerville, Ca.) 9/2008-Present

Estimator

• Performed estimating for various projects based on drawings and site visits.

• Examined drawings for accurate take offs to recommend cost control suggestions.

• Assisted in bid preparation for potential future projects.

• Investigated several vendors for best material pricing.

COMCAST/AT&T BROADBAND (Sacramento, Ca) 7/1986-7/2008

Fleet Manager:

• Administered and managed fleet that grew from 125 vehicles to 515 vehicles. Oversaw

maintenance, operator tracking, DMV renewal, registrations, etc.

• Constructed detailed annual expense budget (Over $3million that included

maintenance, fuel and DMV fees) and capital budgets (Over $1million for new vehicles).

• Safely extended service intervals from 3,000 miles to 5,000 miles for cost savings of over

$32,000 annually resulting in reduced downtime. Extended service intervals allowed

more rigorous preventive maintenance which reduced unplanned repairs by 15%.

• Helped administer fleet safety program resulting in zero vehicle fault accidents. Fleet

traveled over 6,000,000 miles annually.

• Negotiated vendor contracts for repair and fueling of fleet.

• Instituted negotiations with vendors for the purchase of “turnkey” vehicles reducing

expense of working with several up fitters for a savings of $1,000’s and deployed the

vehicles to the field in a timelier manner.

Facilities Manager:

• Responsible for maintenance/repair and tenant improvement work for multiple buildings

housing 500 employees. Experienced in electrical, HVAC, plumbing requirements, etc.

• Project manager and primary contact with general contractor for construction of two new

customer lobby facilities. Each project was in excess of $500,000 in improvements. Both

projects delivered on time and on budget.

• Primary company representative for construction of a new 63,000 sq ft operations center

which was completed within budget and on time. Worked daily with architect and

general contractor and reported status of project to upper management on a weekly basis.

• Successfully moved over 500 employees to the new facility from old facility while

maintaining all business operations resulting in minimal impact to employee morale.

Warehouse/Converter Processing Manager:

• Managed daily operations serving over one-hundred internal technicians as well as

multiple contractors. Responsible for approximately $6million in inventory including

monthly inventory reconciliation process.

• Processed over 3,000 consumer premise equipment devices daily such as set top boxes

and modems for release to technician workforce. Process included changing

computerized status of boxes, cleaning and repair when needed.

• Passed corporate audit in three months an audit that had not been passed in previous

three years.

• Implemented procedures for the processing and deployment of the new digital converters.

Regional Fleet Manager

• Implemented strategies outlined above from Fresno to Chico resulting in region wide

savings and efficiencies.

SACRAMENTO SATELLITE SYSTEMS (Sacramento, Ca) 4/1983-7/1986

• Startup company-involved in the construction of 50 SMATV systems for apartments and

mobile home parks. Responsible for construction of head ends.
