Objective: Seeking a position in credit management and financial services

Experience: Wells Fargo - February 2009 to present

Mortgage Loan Processor - In this position I handled collection

of documentation and information required by underwriting for approval of

mortgage applications. Duties include contacting borrowers regarding

documents needed and arranging alternate terms for lending. Additionally,

I'm responsible for arranging services, such as appraisals, title work and

subrogation agreements, to see that these can be concluded in a timely

manner. While there, I have consistently lead my team in applications

uploaded and have also been in the Top Twenty of processors at my site.

DST - October 2008 - June 2009

Customer Service Representative - This was a part time call

center position (20 hours weekly) with a firm which was contracted with

Bank of America. The duties involved handling customer questions about

medical savings accounts. I was required to be proficient in details about

the numerous accounts which BOA was administrator for. The position ended

when BOA decided to take the service in house.

WESCO Distribution December 2006 - December 2008

Financial Services Supervisor - In this position I handled

credit and collection issues for three Alabama branches of WESCO. Duties

included but were not limited to credit review and opening of new accounts;

collections on accounts; preparing pre-lien documents on construction

accounts; re-evaluation of credit limits; preparing accounts for legal

action and structuring settlements on closed accounts. While there I was

able to maintain a DSO of less than 40 days. My position was terminated

when WESCO went through restructuring in response to current economic

environment.

Alabama Central Credit Union September 2003 - October 2006

Indirect Loan Officer - In this position I was responsible for

reviewing credit underwriting terms of automobile loans received from

dealers. This included pulling credit and negotiating terms with finance

officers at the dealerships. The duties were later expanded to include

helping the collection department at ACCU. The position was terminated

due to lack of business and the outsourcing of underwriting duties in cost

cutting.

Green Tree Financial September 2001 - August 2003

Account Representative - This position was responsible for

collection calls on manufactured housing loans. It required maintaining a

high volume of calls daily and persistence in working the customers to see

that loan terms were honored.

Additionally, I did given amount of field calls; prepared files for

litigation and occasionally testified in court on those cases. I left this

position voluntarily when the company entered Chapter 11 seeking a more

secure job situation.

AmSouth Bank July 2000 - September 2001

Commercial Loan Representative - In this position I handled

collections on a variety of commercial loans. The work entailed a great

deal of phone time between both the customer and the local loan officers in

securing payment or working through refinancing. I was responsible for a

portfolio of over half a billion dollars and managed to keep delinquency to

under 2% of the total. My position there ended when the department

downsized and as a more recent hire, my job was terminated before I had an

opportunity to post for another.

Green Tree Financial December 1997 - July 2000

Account Representative - This position was responsible for the

collection of manufactured housing loans and was the same listed above.

After two years, I was promoted to manager of the department. I

voluntarily left this post on receiving a better offer.

Family Savers September 1995 - December 1997

Credit Manager - In this position, I was credit manager and

sole collector for a buyers club. Primary duties included daily

collections calls and occasional field visits to members. I left when the

company was purchased by another firm and prepared to restructure

operations in a way which would have eliminated my position.

Conference America August 1994 - July 1995

Sales - At this firm, I was account rep handling sales of

conference call services. In the position I was responsible for marketing,

presentations and account development. I chose to leave the company when

my spouse took a promotion which required her to move from Montgomery to

Birmingham.

Met Life January 1993 - August 1994

Account Representative - While at MetLife I dealt with

marketing and sales of insurance and other financial services. This

entailed a great deal of cold calling and in home sales calls.

Sole practitioner - During these years I operated a one man law

office. The practice was a general one and dealt with cases ranging from

bankruptcy, family law, criminal cases and civil litigation.
