My duties and responsibilities are to: Coordinate all
Technical day to day activities in Ophthalmology which
include patient concerns and complaints, resolving
scheduling problems, and viewing patient charts for
completeness; to perform all technical procedures such as
Fluorescein Angiography, Fundus Photography, manual
refractions, auto refractions, applanation tonometry, Case
History, med. Administration, Humphry Visual Fields, OCT,
Topography, Biometry, Lensometry, keratometry,
Biomicroscopy, Opticianry. I developed procedures and a
system for better patient administration and patient
management for smoother clinical operations. I see to it
that all laser procedures are carried out in a safe manner
according to HCHD Laser safety methods.. I established a
teaching Module for training all technical staff in
Ophthalmic Assisting, managed a staff of four (4).

Federal Government). My duties included but were not
limited to performing: Case histories, eye medication
administration, auto Refractions, Lensometry, Florescence
Angiography, Ophthalmic Photography, Ophthalmic Coherence
Tomography (OCT), Tonometry, Visual Fields, Corneal
Topography. April 9, 2007 - December 13, 2007.
United Community Health Care Centers: Position -Clinical
Director/Administrator: I directed all clinical activities
including but not limited to: writing the business plan for
the Clinic, incorporated the services for nine (9)
different medical specialties, hired the operation staff,
devised the clinic budget, devised other outreach programs
for the medically needy, conducted other health care
programs as the community needed.

Physicians' Eye Associates - Houston, TX - Position: Office
Manager/Ophthalmic Medical Technologist. Devised a method
for patient flow for exam procedures, directed all
personnel activities, dealt with office administration
procedures, carried out Ophthalmic Medical Technology
procedures but not limited to: refractions, HRT (Heidleberg
Retinal Topography), medication, A-Scan, Visual screenings,
Tonometry, patient history taking. I introduced four (4)
new income streams to the practice, dramatically increasing
the income potential of the practice; supervised 15
employees.

Opticianry, Retinoscopy Biomicroscopy. The practice became
more efficient and productive because of my skills in
Ophthalmic Technology and patient care techniques 1997-1998
Kelsey-Seybold Medical Clinic, Department of Ophthalmology
Position: Clinic Supervisor: Performed Ophthalmic
Technology procedures in patient care such as contact lens
fitting and dispensing, visual fields, and tonometry.
Supervised 17 personnel in Medical records, devised system
to insure that medical records were accurately sent to all
clinics, successfully. 1996-1997
Baylor College of Medicine: Position: Ophthalmic
Technologist- Responsible for triaging all eye care
patients for the Department of Ophthalmology which
consisted of 18 Ophthalmologist. Filled in as OT when
needed in triage for a short period. 1996-1997

Ophthalmic Clinic Director. Performed all clinic daily
activities, brought practice from a deficient to a profit
status, handled and solved all patient concerns and
problems, devised an Internet business system with a
financial potential of over $5,000,000 per year. 1988-1996
National Education Centers - Houston, TX: Position: Head
Instructor, Optical Department. Taught courses in Ocular
Anatomy and Physiology, Clinical Optics, Dispensing,
Optical Laboratory Procedures, instrumentation and front
office procedures. Prepared students for the ABO and NCLE
examination; was recognized for excellence in teaching
methods and considered to be a great "class room general".

Position: Clinic Director. Established, administrated and
operated this Optical Clinic, I successfully wrote the
business proposal for and received a funding operational
business loan, I conducted all day to day operations
including, hiring of personnel, optical laboratory
procedures, I developed a sales and marketing system,
supervised 7 employees.
