Responsible for architecture, design and coding of Adaptive
Intelligent Data Fusion System for military project and The
Distributed Reconfigurable Intelligent Sensor System for NASA
project. J2EE, Web based distributed system and intelligent data
extraction and fusion technologies have been developed.
Develop and complete Adaptive Intelligent Data Fusion System
including J2EE system architecture, FP (Forward Propagation)
Neural/Fuzzy algorithm development, design, coding and
presentation. This system would dynamically extract mathematical
models from given data set by using FP in real time, detect
dangerous areas and provide valuable information for high level
decision makers.
Develop and complete prototype of Distributed Reconfigurable
Intelligent Sensor System for NASA project, including
architecture of distributed client/server system design, sensor
data filter, fault detection and data fusion. Reconfigurable
multiple control algorithm development, presentation, coding and
testing.
Responsible for research and proposal of Web Based Distributed
Coastal Image Analysis System, which has been awarded by NASA
(05-1-S7.02-9256 SSC) in 2005 as small business innovation
research program (SBIR). This project develops Web based
distributed image analysis system processing the Moderate
Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) data to provide
decision makers or non-specialists with high-quality,
environmental scientific information and coastal predictive
tools.
Invented the technology of Forward propagation Neural Network
with Web distributed system, which can extract the mathematical
model from given data set that can be used to predicate/estimate
the output when giving real input data. The unique feature of
this invention would dynamically re-model the given system with
fastest speed in the world. This invention will be patented
soon.
Many Web based cutting-edge technologies have been utilized such
as JSP, Serverlet, struts, Tomcat/JBoss, AJAX, J2EE, digital
filter, Forward Propagation Neural Network and Fuzzy Logical to
make this adaptive intelligent data fusion system successfully

Responsible for real time embedded software development of Metro
Fiber Optical digital cross
connect System (SONET) for the Fault Protection Software, which
are following modules:
Performance Monitoring Agent (PM) for OC12/OC48/OC192 cards and
Digital Cross Connect card. Which included Client/Server
application for message routing, algorithms for the GR-253,
GR-1400 requirements implementation, hardware driver code design
for SONET faults retrieval and process, APS/UPSR state manager
interaction for switching performance management, and database
interaction for SONET performance data stored.
Alarm Agent for OC12/OC48/OC192 cards and Digital Cross Connect
card. Which included hardware driver code design for hardware
defects retrieval and process, Line/section/Path layer alarm
detection and report (per GR-253 requirement), as well as Server
state manager interaction etc.
Device Driver of OC12/OC48/OC192, chip set initialization and
driver layer functions which access chip registers to set up
proper SONET traffic based on configurations from NMS.
UPSR agent, this module will detect signal quality of SONET and
make decision to choice the best path in SONET ring.
All above module development included VxWorks operating system
implementation, Architecture and Object Oriented design, coding
(using "C "C") and on board integration testing etc.

Short Message Service feature, which routes short message from

mobile termination and origination call processing.

included algorithm of searching optimal buffer staffing,
interaction with line card and Cross Connect card.

defects. Which included interfaces with ISR and Facility
