Computer Field Service Technician

BI-LO / Bruno's Super Markets, Birmingham, AL

Consistently determine faults, repaired, installed and updated information

technology equipment (IT). Effectively repaired thick / thin client

systems, laser printers, installed Microsoft Server 2003, Windows NT and

Windows XP Operating Systems. Fixed faults with Cisco Routers, Switches,

Hubs, KVM Extenders, Access Points, and Lexmark Optra T 6XX Laser printers

and many other peripherals. Documented work in progress and assisted with

Quality Control Activities by validating Third-Party work by other

Technicians. Extensive training and experience in Leadership and

Management. Worked with local Telco's to determine and resolve T-1 issues.

Retail Equipment Field Service Technician

Worked independently and remotely to supported 40+ retail stores using a

wide variety of retail POS (Point of Sale) equipment. Duties included

advance problem determination, working with help desk, and multi level tech

support to resolve software and hardware equipment issues. Support

included Bruno's, K-Mart, Rack Room Shoes, Payless shoes, Sarah Lee Retail

Outlets, Kay Jewelers, Denney's and several others. Also responded to

emergency calls as needed. Additional duties included maintaining a remote
