Main focus was on their largest, highest priority project which focused on
the technical aspects of their secure logistics initiative. Because they
are an end of life asset management company- responsible for the
collection, transport, and redistribution of data bearing assets- the
tracking and tracing of all equipment throughout the entirety of the
logistics process was an extremely important endeavor. The project was high
risk, high complexity as it required the flexibility to integrate multiple
third party logistics vendors, sending and receiving data from and to all
of their internal systems, as well as to and from the third party handheld
software (Airversent) server and handhelds, and receiving information from,
and publishing information back to clients.
Employed modified Agile/Scrum Development methodology
Requirement gathering/elicitation and functional and technical
specification writing for multiple projects, from very small change
requests to very large, high visibility, multi-entity (internal and
external) projects.
Close collaboration with architect, off-shore and on-shore development
teams, and QA team to define technical issues and risks, and design and
implement solutions.
Develop functional diagrams, data and work flow diagrams, and prepare
information for presentation to any or all members of the project team.
Work closely with business users, and project stakeholders.
Direct, manage, and facilitate project meetings.
Coordinate vendors, users, internal development and contractors.
Participation in development and testing of proof-of-concept software.
Use of SQL to develop reports and analyze data.
Use of Visual Studio to design user interfaces.
Prepared information gathering process for technical software selection.
Developed selection criteria, facilitated vendor demonstrations,
coordinated analysis and selection process, and presented findings to the
executive team.
Instrumental in the technical hardware and software acquisition for a major
corporate enhancement to the logistics program.
Technical Integration/Operations Manager

Collaboration with programmer to refine proprietary software application
developed for internal use. Provided all functions of analysis, including:
use case, requirements gathering, cost/benefit analysis for changes, test
case development, functional testing, and implementation.
Collaboration with developer of third party software to improve
functionality of web-based application. Performed comparative analysis of
current function versus ideal function for all users (application used bi-
directionally with both business and individual clients). Initiated
communication with vendor and developed relationship with programmer
resulting in collaboration to improve application. Effectively communicated
our needs and current application dysfunction to programmer, resulting in
positive changes which increased functionality of the application,
ultimately leading to improved efficiency and accuracy within the business
process.
Analysis of work-flow in order to identify and overcome process
inefficiencies.
Completed project to define and implement best process methods of data
integration between multiple applications to automate data flow from
reception to product distribution resulting in a significant decrease in
both input errors and per-job time to completion. Result: Able to complete
same number of jobs using half the labor, in half the time.
Initiated, planned, executed and refined change-process transition from a
paper to a virtually paperless office, increasing work-flow efficiency and
decreasing overhead.
Instituted organizational and procedural controls to ensure data
reliability and business continuity.
Created technical documentation and reference material to facilitate
training and ensure consistent application of established procedures.
Devised new methods and processes to enable employees to work remotely with
no discernible negative impact on business continuity, employee
productivity or client relationships.
Analysis, implementation, testing and refinement pertaining to use of
technology in business process.

refinement and new procedure protocols.

including use of complex conditional formulas, pivot tables, charts, and
graphs.
