Synopsis of Information Technology Project Management, Analysis, Design and
Development Experience:
For over 12 years, I have been involved in and responsible for project
planning and management of the analysis, design, documentation, testing and
implementation efforts of IT development, integration and implementation
projects. As a project manager, team lead and senior business analyst, I
have created project plans, state of work (SOW) documents, strategy
documents, status reports, proposals, process and standards documents, EVM
reports, project documentation templates, identified and tracked risks,
issues and constraints to project success, planned and led meetings,
planned and participated in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions,
participated in the interviewing and selection of IT team members, provided
information and instruction to team members on project documentation
methods and enterprise content management (ECM) standards, tools and
systems, tracked the project time and efforts of staff. Additionally my
responsibilities have included reviewing documentation created by team
members, presenting project documentation and status reports to clients and
stakeholders, achieving client and stakeholders' approval and sign-off of
project documentation, and serving as the liaison between the business and
IT teams.
Working on collaborative teams with consultants from the Big 4/5 consulting
firms (Deloitte, CSC, Accenture/Anderson Consulting and IBM), I have also
created functional requirements (business, process, data, system, and
security), technical specifications, UML use cases, requirements
traceability matrixes (RTM), legacy to future state data mapping documents,
prototypes, training and user manuals, and system architecture
diagrams/models using Microsoft Visio Professional on the most recent
projects. My IT experiences and projects include the Financial/Banking,
Real Estate, Government/Public Sector, Human Resources (HR), Project
Management/PMO, and Healthcare industries utilizing different system
development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and documentation standards,
methods and techniques. In two global SAP HCM (HR) projects at the
Convergys Corporation, I expanded my experience to include the SAP Service
Oriented Architecture (SOA) and the SAP SDLC phases of blueprint, design,
integration, and implementation.
Consequently, the knowledge acquired of information technology
environments, systems, processes, IT infrastructure, SDLC methodologies,
interfaces and conversions, and functional and technical documentation
methods and techniques make me a viable candidate for the implementation of
business and IT process improvement, project planning and management, and
system design, development, integration and implementation projects.
