EXPERIENCE
o Prepared monthly financial statements for individual companies and
related consolidated statements. All necessary journal entries and
supporting schedules were created and/or maintained.
o Prepared and recorded journal entries for regular month end and for
year-end adjustments, including recording cash, inventory, and
payroll. Managed year-end audit of financial statements with third
party auditors per bank requirements.
o Completed handling various accounting chores. Positions held
include Payroll, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Staff
Accountant and supervision of each position.
o Completed accounting detail work, including bank reconciliation,
detailing asset records, reconciling large accounts, assist
maintaining cost accounting records, and other detail general
ledger work.
o Supervised an Accounting Department consisting of Accounts Payable,
Payroll and Accounts Receivable, responsible to publish monthly
financial statements and handling CPA audit procedures.
o Managed Bank Borrowing Base reporting for a $25 Million revolving
loan account, including daily managing and handling of cash
management duties. Reporting duties included monthly
reconciliation and reporting of ineligible accounts.
o Set up and maintained fixed asset records for multiple plants in
multiple states for all necessary depreciation books (Internal,
Tax, AMT, ACE, etc.) using FAS Asset Software. Included setting up
or converting necessary book information and maintaining on a
monthly basis.
o Completed Fixed Asset Inventories of many plants, tagging assets
and creating and reconciling all information to the existing fixed
asset books. Includes identifying, classifying and understanding
fixed assets of many different industries, including metal
stamping, chemical plants, wood shops, hi-tech assets, plastic
bottle and part manufacturers, metal formers, coil steel slitting,
etc.
o Handled month-end and year-end reporting of depreciation and other
asset information, including handling the audits of depreciation
records for CPA firms.
o Handled personal property tax reporting for multiple plants over
several states at the same time. Reporting required time
management and form completion, along with audit responsibilities.
o Created, maintained and managed a database for tracking leased
assets with a total cost of over $200 million on Microsoft Access.
Involved creating my own database using the program to provide
feasible and efficient solutions to the leased asset reporting
needs of the firm.
