During the time I was in school getting various degrees in business,
history, and languages, I had several jobs on and off campus and worked as
an independent contractor in bookkeeping. Prior to that, I held positions
in commercial insurance underwriting, rating, and management. While in
insurance, I also worked with Lloyds of London contracts and facultative /
treaty reinsurance. I received my initial training with Safeco Insurance
Company in all lines of both commercial and personal lines of insurance.
