Performed a Project Server/SharePoint health check, assessment and best

practice recommendations for United States Marine Corps leading to design

and build of Marine Corps Worldwide [MCW] SharePoint farm. Began by

performing installation of SharePoint on the dual network environment.

Then worked with director, developing a strategic implementation plan/way

forward. Prototyped some initial applications and demonstrated them to

division heads. Afterward, held briefings and vision casting interviews

with division heads, developing a comprehensive list of Project Server and

SharePoint applications. Delivered final design, findings and

recommendations to the management steering committee. Then presented

application list to the TSO-USMC Change Control Board and began

coordinating production ramp-up. Recommended and began formation of a

SharePoint Center of Excellence to build and implement applications.

Continuing to develop planned SharePoint applications and provide internal

training. WSS 2.0 and Project Server 2003 were installed, conducted

upgrade to WSS 3.0 and Project Server 2007 ... included migration of user

accounts and extensive customizations. Also have coordinated a migration

of Project Server and SharePoint from the DFAS network to the MCW network

... involving changing domains, etc. Made recommendations for migration

tools and varied COTS products: assisted with procurement, installation and

configuration. I am the ongoing Project Server and SharePoint SME for the

Met with Microsoft Learning leaders and jointly developed a detailed design

for a social learning portal pilot. The learning portal was based on MOSS

2007, the podcasting kit solution beta and SharePoint Learning Kit 1.3.1.

Delivered final design, findings, and recommendations and then assisted

Microsoft Learning in moving forward through the RFP process for actual

development of the pilot.

January 2009 - February 2009

Performed a SharePoint/MOSS health check assessment and best practice

recommendations for National Semiconductor. Facilitated requirements

planning meetings with end users and executives and collaborated with other

teams on a regular basis. Delivered findings and then assisted their

global infrastructure team in producing a plan for implementing the

recommendations.

Performed a SharePoint/MOSS assessment for Computer Associates. Provided

best practice recommendations for moving forward in their enterprise MOSS

environment. Led a team to implement several custom SharePoint

applications for Computer Associates, including a Marketing Calendar

application, connecting to their Oracle backend. Facilitated requirements

planning meetings with end users and executives and collaborated with other

teams on a regular basis. Produced a deliverable containing 100+ best

practice recommendations and then assisted in implementing those

recommendations.

Led a migration team providing Lotus Notes to SharePoint migration for

JPMC. Involved in architecting solution, as well as choosing various tools

for use in the project. Migrated 15,000 Lotus Notes applications to

SharePoint. Facilitated requirements planning meetings with end users and

executives and collaborated with other teams on a regular basis.

Project with Allison Transmission, implementing Project Server 2007 in

their product engineering group. Upgraded from an existing Project Server

2003 environment, migrating existing users and customizations, while also

crafting new customizations and greatly enlarging the user base.

configured system. Also built an executive dashboard serving several

different groups within Allison. Worked extensively with project managers

in coordinating and delivering business user training & material. Also

customized artifact templates in SharePoint for specific types of projects.

Prior Implementations

. VIRACOR - Designed, developed and implemented a Microsoft CRM

application for a bioscience company [Viracor] using Microsoft CRM, Great

Plains, a custom medical billing system and the BizTalk CRM/Great Plains

integration. Application required extensive customization to CRM screen

objects and to the BizTalk integration itself. Custom scripts were

developed to successfully import data from the client's old ACT system.

SharePoint was used to store client contracts and hospital lab reports.

Custom URLs were placed in the Account object to link directly to the

documents. Used SharePoint Portal Server 2003. Also implemented Project

Server 2003 to manage internal projects.

. PROENERGY - Designed, developed and implemented a Microsoft CRM

application for an energy consulting & management company

[ProEnergy][builds and maintains power plants] using Microsoft CRM, Great

Plains and the BizTalk CRM/Great Plains integration. Application required

building an interface to their service dispatch system, as well as

extensive object customization to CRM screen objects and to the BizTalk

integration itself. SharePoint was used to store applicant resumes in a

central, searchable repository, with direct links from Contact objects to

applicant/contractor resumes. Used SharePoint Portal Server 2003. Also

implemented Project Server 2003 to manage workforce of consultants and

construction team for complex energy plant construction projects.

. ASI - Designed, developed and implemented a Microsoft CRM application

for a business software consulting company [ASI] using Microsoft CRM,

Solomon and Windows SharePoint Services. Extensive customization was done

in CRM, along with development of a business information tracking

application, linking problem reports, sales & service documents and job

costing information between CRM, Solomon and Sharepoint systems. Made CRM

the focal point of information access across the enterprise, providing

display of not only CRM data, but job costing and related service

information. Used Project Server 2003 and the Solomon interface to track

job cost information.

. MAMTC - Designed, developed and implemented a hybrid Microsoft CRM

application for a federally funded manufacturing systems consulting company

[MAMTC] using Microsoft CRM, Alert Project Management, Great Plains,

EventPro Planner and Windows SharePoint Services. Moderate customization

was done in CRM, along with integration of all systems using Scribe

Integrate. Development of this solution passed federal scrutiny ...

opening the way for government funding of these solutions throughout the

nation. Also implemented Project Server 2003 to manage projects at the

enterprise level. Used dashboard to communicate status to board of

directors.

. MAMTC CO - Designed, developed and implemented a hybrid MSCRM

application for another federally funded manufacturing systems consulting

company [MAMTC-CO] using MSCRM, Alert Project Management, Great Plains,

EventPro Planner and WSS. Also used Project Server 2003 to manage projects

across the enterprise. Used dashboard to communicate status to board of

directors.

. CLEVELAND CHIROPRACTIC COLLEGE - Architected and implemented an

enterprise SharePoint Portal Server 2003 system.

. QUINTILLES - Architected and implemented a MOSS 2007 SharePoint

Portal proof of concept for serving as an enterprise dashboard for a global

pharmaceutical company [Quintilles].
