PRETTL Electric Corporation (Operations Manager):
Effectively Transformed the Plant’s largest department from an OEM, high volume /low mix to an
aftermarket low volume/high mix operation in 16 months. This was achieved through
implementing Team based Manufacturing Cells utilizing Lean concepts and detailed focus placed
on management of the entire Supply-Chain. Improved efficiency by 16% and morale greatly.
Improved on-time delivery by 32%. Reduced 3 week lead time to 5 days.
Effectively launched a new Injection Molding product line in 8 months. The automated cell
included Molding of connectors and grommets to anti-lock brake cables.
Fisher Barton (Engineering Manager):
Effectively transferred an entire product line of 270 part numbers into the facility.
Staffed and developed the entire Engineering Department including 23 Engineers and Technical
Associates.
In-house Close Tolerance Tool & Die Design and build. In-house Equipment Design & Build.
Freightliner Corporation (Engineering Manager):
Effectively Managed five Departments totaling approximately 120 employees; Managed
associated annual capital budget of $18-22MM and annual expense budget of $14 – 16MM
Played a key role on the Staff Management Team during a 5 year period where Freightliner grew

Operations Manager:
Effectively manage all departments for Wire Harness division. (appx. 270 employees). Develop and manage
Wire Harness business plan to budget.
Improved over all productivity by 16% during a transition from an OEM supplier to an Aftermarket supplier.
Improved on-time delivery by 32%. Reduced lead-time from 3 weeks to 5 days.
Total turn-around of employee moral. This was achieved by clear communication with follow-through to
closure during weekly performance meetings and appraisals. Built a Team environment by empowering
employees to be responsible and take pride in their abilities and accomplishments.

Program Manager:
Effectively managed the transfer of approximately 350 aftermarket assemblies which included full APQP and
PPAP process. The program was 8 months old when I took it over with only 14 PPAPs complete. The
customer was threatening to pull the business. I led the Supply-Chain team to turn around the unfavorable
impression and met the customer’s expectations.

Effectively transferred an entire product line of 270 part numbers into the facility. This doubled the facilities
sales to $24MM annually.
Staffed and developed the entire Engineering Department including 23 Engineers and Technical Associates.
Freightliner Corporation: (Internal Promotion) January 1995 to September 2000

Supervised the Maintenance Department of a 600M square foot facility that included 46 maintenance
technicians with 5 lead persons covering 5 shifts.
Developed a State recognized apprenticeship program within the department and had 24 graduates. This
program drastically improved the Technician skill level and Professionalism.
Developed and sustained a proven preventive and predictive maintenance program for a 24 hr/day, 7 day/wk
operation. The final product reduced equipment down-time more that 17%. The primary difference was
made by actively interfacing the maintenance planning system (and personnel) with production planning /
scheduling system (and personnel).
