as liaison between design and engineering along with designing components

and assemblies.

< Mentored and led group of four designers in designing and engineering

systems and processes while managing design workload for over 50

engineers, maintaining 100% on time performance.

Senior Designing Engineer, Exterior Structural Accessories 2005-2009

Involved with all phases of complex component design, vehicle interface,

development, validation, and documentation while designing and releasing

components for aftermarket sale.

. Designed, engineered, and validated first hitches developed in GM

North America for global sale, on time with limited resources, and in

one third normal program timing. Generated increased sales revenue by

making hitches available in over 30 countries.

global unique roof rack attachment slots into one design.

roof rack system that passed a new stringent internal crash test and

Senior Designing Engineer, Exterior Trim and Hardware 2002-2005

Responsible for all aspects of parts from clay concept to post-launch

including design and release of exterior components for assembly plant

installation.

. Engineered the Tahoe and Yukon hybrid rear upper exterior moldings.

Through changing these two parts alone improved fuel efficiency nearly

0.1 mpg.

. Implemented twin sheet thermoforming process to new application, H2

SUT bed-liners, saving over $1M in tooling investment.
