Technical Architecture Evaluation for SAP MDM and Data Quality Analysis of
Material Master Data
Client: ExxonMobil, Houston, TX
Project: This project was about reviewing the Technical Architecture and
doing Data Quality Analysis for the Material Master Data of Fortune 1
Company, ExxonMobil for feasibility analysis of SAP MDM implementation.
Role: Part of the Technical Architecture and Data Quality Analysis Team.
Responsibilities:
. Working with the Business Team to gather requirements and document the
different Material Master Data and Transactional Data Profiling Rules
. Writing the Functional and Technical Specifications for the Profiling
Rules and working with the vendor's development team to complete data
analysis.
. Working with the Technical Architecture team to understand the "As-Is"
architecture and provide recommendations for the "To-Be" architecture
involving SAP BPM. This includes the different components needed,
Pro/Cons Analysis and working with SAP to understand the product
roadmaps.

Client: Wal-Mart Inc, Bentonville, AR
Project: This project is a Global SAP FI-CO Rollout for the World's largest
Retailer, Wal-Mart Inc.
Role: SAP FI-AP Technical Coordinator and Lead Designer for the AP
Interfaces for North America Rollout.
Responsibilities:
. Review the Functional Specification Documents being written by the
Functional team to ensure that the Functional Specs are complete from a
Technical Specification Standpoint.
. Finalize the technical design of the interfaces and conversions to ensure
that the design is scalable and able to handle large volume of data.
. Lead the check printing effort to convert all the existing check printing
processes from Legacy source to SAP Source. This involved working with
the external vendors for material requisition, Legacy Teams, Basis Team
and the SAP Development team.
. Constant Coordination with the development team to ensure that the
development is moving along smoothly. Close any functional
issues/questions from the technical team during development by working
closely with the Functional team. Continuous interaction with the SAP,
Legacy, EDI and Middleware teams to ensure that the objects are delivered

Implementation of the Floor Interface Tool (SAP SD - SAP CRM)
Client: Whirlpool Inc, Benton Harbor, MI
Project: The primary objective of this project is to develop "Flooring
Interface Tool (F.I.T This is a single application/tool on the SAP
Portal to bring together the key elements of a total floor planning
process, whereby the Merchandising Organization can feed priority
intelligence to the selling organization and enable them to plan and commit
a trade customer to a set floor display. Once the display is determined,
the process will be able to automate the execution of the display order.
The Screens were developed using Visual Composer and Web Dynpro ABAP and
the application interfaces with SAP R/3 SD, SAP CRM, SAP MDM and Artesia
system to retrieve the information needed by the user.
Role: Worked as a sole SAP Functional consultant and leading the technical
team both on-site and offshore.
Responsibilities:
. Involved in the high level and detailed scoping of the project by
participating in requirements gathering meetings with the client,
analyzing Client requirements, determine technical feasibility and making
suggestions to facilitate decision making and freezing the scope of the
project
. Lead a team of 5 technical developers ( 2 On-Site and 3 Off-site ).
. Developed Detail Functional Requirement Documents based on the high level

updated and the error messages are saved in an error table which can then
be pulled up by an error report.
. Assisted in the Web Dynpro Development of the screens for the tool.
. Had knowledge transfer sessions explaining the project from a functional
and techincal standpoint to the new members on the team as well as new
members on the Client's team

Client: Caterpillar Logistics, Peoria, IL
Role: Lead ABAP Designer and Developer working closely with the client and
the offshore development team and reviewing technical design documents.
Responsibilities:
. Design and Development of a Smartform which prints a Serial Ticket for
the Product which is being picked from the Warehouse. Once the RF Printer
scans the part, Smartform is triggered using PPF Action and the Serial
Ticket with the appropriate barcode is printed.
. Conducting and co-ordinating meetings with the Functional team and the
business team for quick resolution of the issues encountered during the
design and development of the above functionality.
. Worked on SPAU and SPAU Enhancements for the CRM 5.1, SCM 5.1 and ECC 5.1
Upgrade.
. Helping the Configuration team find out missing configurations by
debugging the newly delivered SAP code. This lead to increased knowledge
about the EWM business processes.
. Involved in resolution of issues identified by the testing team during
the SCM 5.1 Upgrade. This includes issues related to IDOC's, XI,

SAP R/3 Implementation of SAP SD, SAP FICA and SAP Utilities (Waste)
Client: Waste Management, Houston, TX
Role: ABAP Developer responsible for developing inbound and outbound
interfaces from SAP R/3 system, developing reports to track daily
activities and for analysis, assisting the data conversion team and in any
other development related activities.
Responsibilities:
. Developed the Mass Price Increase interface from R/3 system for Customer
specific pricing, Franchise Pricing and Default Pricing. The Download
program extracts the data which is then used to perform a mass price
increase. The extract downloads data on an Excel Spreadsheet using SAP
office Integration to provide coloring, locking and formatting of data to
the users for better usability. The extract is then uploaded back into
SAP and the relevant Condition tables are then updated and the contracts
are re-priced.
. Developed Route Profitability interface from R/3 system to an internal
system using SAP XI. This interface sends the revenue details generated
by all the routes on a daily basis which is then used for Route
Profitability Analysis.
. Developed the Waste Route interface from R/3 system to an internal system
using SAP XI. This interface sends the address, customer and service
details on a particular route, which is used for Route Optimization.
. Responsible for development of all custom reports in the ISU-Waste
Module. Developed about 15 reports in ISU-Waste Module and about 8
reports in SD and FI Modules.
. Lead a team of 3 ABAP Developers to work on Custom R/3 reports and
smartforms assignment.
. Developed a common template to provide standardization in all Custom R/3
reports.
. Developed an Include program which splits the selection screen of any
given R/3 report to display the corporate structure on the left hand side
using ALV Objects and Events. The user can then make selections in the
ALV tree, which automatically gets transferred to the selection screen.
. Enhancement and maintenance of all the Smart Forms which are used for
printing route sheets and service tickets.
. Developed R/3 user-exits and update rules for all the ISU-Waste
Extractors and ODS used to extract data into SAP BW system.
. Worked with the Deloitte Team in Bill Compare Project. Developed an ABAP
Program to read billing information from the legacy system and R/3 system
and then displaying it using ALV grid. Bill Compare was a pre go-live
activity to analysis discrepancies, if any in the bill generated from the
R/3 system.
. Worked with the Data Conversion team to develop various R/3 reports which
were used to analyze the data post-conversion. Developed various pricing
reports and service reports for data accuracy and data validation.
. Worked with the SAP BW team to help finalize the requirements for BW ISU
reports from the knowledge gained while developing R/3 reports.
. Involved on performance tuning and code reviews of some custom R/3
programs and reports.
. Involved in work allocation and validating all the enhancement requests

IPM - Incentives and Paybacks Module: SAP R/3 470 and 46C
Clients: Siemens, Grainger, Kohler, Medline, Mannington,
Graybar Electric, F. Dohmen & Co, Border-States Electric
Role: ABAP Developer responsible for development of the user interfaces,
enhancements of the existing functionality and
optimizing the existing code.
IPM, advanced version of IPS addresses issues in the IPS. IPM is a SAP R/3
Add-on that identifies, computes and settles all types of incentives and
paybacks related to SD, PP and HR business processes. For example: Vendor
Chargebacks, Sales Commissions, and Customer Rebates etc.
Responsibilities:
. Developed a Dialog Program for Pricing Analytics, used for analyzing
pricing related data in an R/3 system. User has the option to view the
data in HTML, ALV Grid or Pivot Table in Excel.
. Integrated Formula Builder, available in 4.7C with Composite Incentives
and Paybacks which helps users to define complex formulas and then
evaluate the defined formula.
. Developed an Interactive Adhoc Report in Composite Incentives and
Paybacks to display an advanced view of a Composite Plan in an
organization using ALV Grid and number of Grid Events.
. Developed an interface between R/3 system and the vendor system to
transfer all the incentive documents generated for the customer on a
daily basis using SAP XI. Used JDBC adaptor to load data into the
database tables.
. Developed report to create Claim Request documents from Excel
spreadsheet.
. Enhanced several existing functionalities to provide better usability,
meet customer requirements and optimize the performance.

Role : ABAP Developer and VB Developer responsible for the SAP Integration
with Excel.
This is an application aimed at providing alternate custom and simple user
interfaces for SAP Material Master and Customer Master using SAP
classification technique extensively. It also contains a lot of additional
functionality tailored for specific needs of the client.
Responsibilities:
. Created VBA macros in Excel and developed reports in ABAP which pass the
data to Excel for display. VBA macros format the data, keep track of the
changes and then send it back to SAP R/3 for saving in the database.
. Developed reports and workflows using ABAP OO programming techniques and
MySAP Controls.
. Extract data from SAP pricing tables; transform it to populate the
database tables.
. Created new IDOC basic types, necessary IDOC segments and new message

Role: SAP Analyst and Tester, responsible for testing the Incentives and
Paybacks Application version 3.0.
This application is an embedded SAP add-on developed by Vistex Inc. that
identifies, computes and settles all types of incentives and paybacks
related to Logistics processes.
Responsibilities:
. Created test plan, test cases and test scenarios for the application and
successfully executed the test plan.
. Involved in bug fixing, enhancements and coordinating with the
developers.
. Generation of interactive reports for Sales and Distribution.
. Designing & Writing Z-code for multi-level reports using Logical Database
