electronics used in Navy torpedoes.

Tested, repaired, and troubleshot receivers used for horizontal
drilling locaters. Troubleshot down to component level, calibrated
individual components for resell and installation. DCI is the
industry leader in HDD technology, and received a letter of
recommendation from the company following company wide lay offs.
. April 2004 -April 2008: Aviation Electronic Technician 3rd Class
Worked on testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical
equipment found onboard military aircraft. Including, but not
limited to: Radios (HF, VHF), IFF(identify friend or foe) systems,
TACAN(tactical air navigation) systems, RADAR(radio detection and
ranging) and IRDS(infrared detection system).
Qualifications:
. Solid electronics background, finished in top 10% in Navy A and C
schools.
. Component level troubleshooting experience, worked in I and D level
maintenance facilities.
. Working knowledge of a diverse range of test equipment; Oscilloscopes,
multimeters, spectrum analyzers, AF and RF signal generators.
. Accomplished teacher, while serving the Navy trained 10+ sailors in
repair of HF radios and intercommunication equipment.
. Awarded Good Conduct Medal and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist.
. Through hole and surface mount solder experience.
Management:
. As a Petty Officer 3rd class USN, directly responsible for the actions
of peers and subordinates.
. Directly supervised 5-20 sailors for two years. Responsible for
training and maintaining good order.
. Held Quality Assurance position, responsible for screening the
repaired electrical components for defects in workmanship.
. Six Sigma Lean familiar, participated in numerous lean logic events.
