Comptroller, Butler County Water and Sewer Department, Hamilton, Ohio (Jun
98-May 09): All accounting, budgeting, financial management (including cost-
of-service modeling, rate-making, and overall financial analysis), accounts
payable, and payroll. Developed long-range pro-forma financial projections,
based on trends and assumptions, as well as financial policies for
maintenance of minimum cash balances, long-term financing of capital
projects, and debt service coverage. Developed, maintained, and used a
number of effective Excel analytical control files as managerial tools;
received the coveted Kick Butt Award in 2003 (from director) for my having
achieved so many outstanding accomplishments in that year.
Visiting Instructor of Accounting, Miami University, Oxford, Ohio (Jan 97-
May 98): Taught Managerial Accounting and Financial Accounting. Named
Professor of the Month, April, 1997, by Kappa Delta Sorority, Miami

Significant work in adjusting general ledger accounts in preparation for

Played a major role in implementing CUFS (College and University Financial
System), a fully-integrated fund accounting system, for the University of
Cincinnati; developed and implemented internal controls; analyzed and
investigated variances from budget; managed the general accounting
department, including the accounting for capital assets, hospital supplies,
and accounts receivable; and coordinated annual audits by big four CPA
firms.
Financial Advisor, NCR Corporation (Apr 81-Dec 85): Developed a videotape
of NCR's key corporate finance policies for worldwide use; reviewed and
updated finance policies as necessary to comply with GAAP; provided
accounting examples for treasurer's white paper on hedging foreign exchange

prepared SEC and shareholder reports.

forecasting and the investing of projected available cash for optimal
