complexities of computer networks, from the very simplistic to the more advanced maintenance tasks. My

I have been Team Leader/Manager and technical advisor over various imaging and software packages
providing product, computer and network support to more than 2000 companies and overseeing a number

Albeit my resume reflects mainly IT experience I’m very mechanically and electrically inclined working
in high voltage power line construction, all aspects of cable TV including Microwave tower maintenance,
automobile restoration and engine rebuilding and truly enjoy “hands-on” service and maintenance.
Employment History May 1989-May 2009
Over the last twenty years I have performed a multitude of tasks from the installation of banking software
packages on a nationwide and international basis to Management and IT administration.
The sixteen years at TREEV, two years at Hall-Irwin and two years at Hostworks Inc. I was an IT
administrator assistant resolving simple to complex network connectivity issues, construction of servers,
PC troubleshooting, installation of various email packages as well as establishing WEB and FTP sites
with IIS 5.0 and 6.0.
I’m very easy to work with and responsive to a multitude of requests simultaneously. My primary job
assignments required me to interact with numerous people in the field and over the phone tending to their
needs for PC maintenance, Software installation and overall training.
Hostworks, Inc. Nov. 2007- May 2009
My primary responsibilities as an IT administrator II at Hostworks included Windows 2000 and 2003
server construction, establishing WEB and FTP sites with IIS 5.0 AND 6.0. Other responsibilities
included TCP/IP resolutions, installation of various email packages, White and Black listing legitimate
and malicious WEB sites and establishing user rights to either restrict or allow access to folders for FTP
access. Many other networking aspects were part of my responsibilities to achieve overall customer
satisfaction.
Hall-Irwin Corporation March 2006- Sept. 2007
Past employment I primarily worked as an IT network administrator II providing installation and
assistance with a number of heavy highway, pipeline and landscaping Engineering software packages as
well as CAD software programs. Job assignments include voice over IP utilizing CISCO systems,
wireless communications, 2003 server construction, Microsoft Active Directory, MS Exchange along with
network problem resolution and PC support. I also actively worked with weight scale software and
hardware such as JWS.
TREEV, Inc. May 1989-Aug 2005
Eleven years of Field Engineering requiring on-site installations of COLD and Imaging products on a
weekly basis traveling nationally and internationally normally 45 weeks a year. Applications ranged from
the installation of these products on Unisys-A, Unisys Micro-A, IBM AS400’s, IBM System 36 and NCR
mainframes. Installation and troubleshooting techniques were used extensively for IBM and Unisys file
transfer using third party products such as IBM PC support, ITI and HLCN software to migrate data from
an EBCDIC to an ASCII format for Microsoft and Novell Networks. The last five years at TREEV I was
a technical Team Leader/Manager and technical advisor overseeing an extremely knowledgeable staff of
employees supporting imaging and COLD products for over 2000 customers primarily for the Banking
industry and other Financial Institutions, Government agencies and School districts. I have experience in
a number of banking software packages including Jack Henry, Broadway and Seamore as well as ITI.
Education
Four-year scholarship recipient from the University of Wyoming
Associates degree from National Technical schools in Los Angeles for microcomputer and
microprocessor controlled applications to support microprocessor controlled oil pumps.
Knowledge Alliance classes attended concentrating on SQL administration and maintenance.

Practical Skills
• Team Leader/Manager over various imaging products providing product, computer and network

problem resolutions to achieve customer satisfaction with as little downtime as possible.
• Windows 2003, 2000, NT Server 4.0, XP, MSSQL 6.5, MSSQL 7.0 and MSSQL 2000. Limited
experience with Linux, Unix, ATT UNIX and SCO UNIX.
• Establishing WEB and FTP access in IIS 5.0 AND 6.0 as well as creating users to either allow or
deny access to shared folders.
• Establishing and resolving complex email issues with various brands such as Outlook, Outlook
Express, Mac Mail, Merek, Google, Firefox, etc.
• Construction of server rebuilds in all above categories primarily with

• Skilled at interpreting many third party products with little documentation to accommodate
restoration needs with the least possible impact to the customer as possible.
• The ability to troubleshoot and correct LAN/WAN issues remotely to diagnose user right issues to
hardware problems associated with defective servers. Responsibilities also included correcting
database corruption issues as well as rebuilding defective servers remotely and on site.

• Experience in many aspects of Cable TV installation from home installation to complete underground
and aerial construction. I also have experience with fiber optic installation and termination.
Microwave tower maintenance including wave guide cleaning and dish alignment were aspects of my
job assignments.
• Experience with high voltage aerial (14,400 volts) power line construction as well as the construction
and installation of power control and service boxes to control the operation of oil well pumping units.
