Estimating, Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) Project, Indianapolis, IN,

Indianapolis Power & Light: Using Excel spread sheets, is responsible for

establishing cost estimates for civil/structural equipment relevant to

absorber units for the Unit 7 FGD Unit Project at the Harding Street

Station.

Estimator, Paradise, Bull Run and Kingston Power Plants, TN, Tennessee

Valley Authority: Preparing civil/structural and mechanical estimates for

the three TVA sites listed above using Timberline estimating software. All

estimates have come in at the target cost the client anticipated. URS is

providing design, procurement, construction and commissioning services for

the installation of flue gas desulfurization systems at multiple fossil

fuel power plants.

Estimator, Baton Rouge, LA, Pala-Interstate Inc.: Estimated lump sum, cost

plus turnarounds, grass roots and budget proposals, as well as creation of

project schedules using P3 for the petrochemical / refinery industry.

Assisted with the management of various civil and mechanical projects.

Estimator, Baton Rouge, LA, James Construction Group, LLC: Prepared lump

sum, as well as time and material estimates using MC^2, for capital

expansions and maintenance / debottlenecking projects for the petrochemical

industry to include all phases of estimates relevant to civil/structural,

mechanical, and equipment. Completed planning and scheduling to accompany

estimates. Upon contract award, requested and purchased direct materials

and bulks.

associated with oil reserve sites. Estimating responsibilities included

the preparation of material take-offs on piping, concrete, and earthwork,

as well as man-hour summaries, and pricing.

Estimator, Prairieville, LA; Bengal Industries: Prepared lump sum

estimates for fabrication and erection of piping. Prepared and monitored

fabrication shop schedule.

Maintenance Planner, Sorrento, LA, OHM Corporation: Purchased supplies and

materials for process equipment. Had responsibility for shipping,

receiving, and material control.

Project Coordinator, Multiple Projects, Alabama/Arkansas & New Mexico, PEC

International, Inc.: Supervised dismantling, packing, and preparation for

ammonia refrigeration equipment, piping, etc. in Carlsbad, NM and a 165-tpd
