. Implemented a corporate mandated transition from a traditional freight
forwarder to a global logistics provider focused on 3PL services
including a WMS enabling overseas client total visibility throughout
their supply chain. Saved $20,000 per month by persuading senior
management to terminate unprofitable warehousing /distribution agreements
by presenting list of hidden related costs which were not being expensed
against specific files. Advised superiors that without obtaining
significant price increases, the partnerships were not "win-win.
. Lead complex project for client Motorola/ Indonesia during a period of
political unrest. Responsible for decisions and implementation
concerning, the project's sale, preparation, quality, transportation,
warehouse management, security, letters of credit and customs
documentation. This success resulted in three additional projects.
. Performed several years of outside sales being a key player in
transforming one branch from being a "routing order depot" to a station
controlling 40% of its own generated traffic. Developed bi-weekly Chicago-
Paris air consolidation as a result of close relationship with French
office, previous experience with the trade lane, and overseas sales.
