Mr. Day has over twenty years of professional geological, hydrogeological,

and environmental consulting experience. He has been a hydrogeologist for

soil/groundwater assessments at various industrial facilities in Louisiana,

Texas, and Mississippi, participated in design and implementation of

remedial programs for industry, coordination of quarterly/semiannual

groundwater sampling events, regulatory groundwater reporting for several

industrial facilities, and regulatory liaison. Responsibilities include

various aspects of project management, client relations, coordination of

field activities, preparation of proposals and final reports.

United States Risk Management, LLC (11/03 to 02/10); Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Operations Manager, responsibilities include day-to-day operations,

personnel management, profit/loss for cost center. Key projects include

the following:

. Project Manager for a Risk Evaluation and Corrective Action Program

(RECAP) Evaluation for a marine services facility in south Louisiana

that had placed Marine Shale Aggregate (MSA) as fill for a boat slip.

Soil and groundwater samples were collected from the perimeter of the

buried material. The RECAP Assessment identified one metal above RECAP

MO-1 Remedial Standards (RS). The Remedial Action Plan (RAP) was

approved, and remediation has been completed under the Voluntary

Remedial Program, and the Tax Credit Application submitted. Total

project costs estimated to be three million dollars.

. Project Manager for a one-time hazardous waste delisting petition for

Marine Shale Aggregate (MSA) that was used as fill material for a boat

slip at a marine services facility in southeast Louisiana. The

delisting petition was approved by LDEQ and EPA.

. Project Geologist for Hazardous Waste Notice of Deficiencies response

regarding hydrogeological issues for refinery in southeast Louisiana.

. Project Manager for a RECAP Evaluation of two (2) hazardous waste

units (landfarms) that were in post-closure for an oil refinery in

southeast Louisiana. Existing groundwater data (historical) combined

with a comprehensive soil sampling program were utilized for

evaluation. The RECAP Evaluation was submitted to the LDEQ as part of

a Ready for Reuse (RfR) submittal that was subsequently approved by

LDEQ. The facility will be using the landfarm area for a laydown yard

and contractor offices.

. Project Manager for a RECAP Evaluation on a former oil field location

in Johnsons Bayou Field in Southwest Louisiana. Oil field activities

impacted the shallow soil and groundwater in the area proposed for

construction of a new tank battery. Contaminants of Concern (COC)

consisted of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH). The RECAP submittal

was given a No Further Action At This Time (NFAATT) under the

Management Option 1 (MO-1) evaluation by the Louisiana Department of

Environmental Quality (LDEQ).

. Completed semiannual groundwater monitoring and reporting for a

petrochemical facility and two municipal solid waste facilities.

Includes groundwater sampling, groundwater statistics, and reporting.

. Armalese Planting Company, et al. Vs. PB Amoco, et al., April 2004,

Provided expert opinion (written report) and deposition testimony

regarding oil field impacts to soil and groundwater in the

Napoleonville Field, Napoleonville, Louisiana. Was recognized as an

expert in the field of Geology.

. Duhe Vs. Texaco, et al., Ongoing, Provided expert opinion (written

report) regarding oil fieldimpacts to soil and groundwater for the

Duhe Tank Battery, New Iberia Field, New Iberia, Louisiana. Collected

groundwater data and compared to historical data and LDEQ risk-based

standards.

. Terry and Jo Ann Falcon, et. al Joyce Falcon vs. Clarendon Insurance

Company, et al., Provided expert opinion (written report) regarding

soil impacts for a truck spill that consisted of drill cuttings.

Collected samples for analysis of barium and compared to previous data

and LDEQ risk-based standards.

. Abshire Vs. BP Corp NA, et al., Provided expert opinion regarding oil

field impacts to soil and groundwater in the Jennings Oil Field,

Jennings, Louisiana.

. Dore' Energy Corporation Vs. Carter-Langham, Inc. et al; Provided

expert opinion regarding oil field impacts to soil and groundwater for

the Carter-Langham Tank Battery in Cameron Meadows Oil Field, Johnson

Bayou, Louisiana.

C-K Associates, Inc. (04/00 to 11/03); Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Groundwater Division Manager, responsibilities included day-to-day

operations within Groundwater Division and personnel management. Key

projects included the following:

. Project Manager for a RECAP Evaluation of a property adjacent to an

industrial site for the purpose of facility expansion near New

Orleans, Louisiana. COC consisted of volatile organics and TPH. All

COC were eliminated through an MO-1 evaluation.

. Project Manager for a RECAP Evaluation for a natural gas processing

facility in southwestern Louisiana. All COC were eliminated under a MO-

1 scenario except for benzene in both soil and groundwater. Natural

attenuation was proposed and accepted as the remedial option by LDEQ.

. Completed a groundwater evaluation under the Louisiana Department of

Natural Resources (DNR) guidelines for an oil well that the casing was

breached and drilling fluids potentially impacted the Underground

Source of Drinking Water (USDW). Total project costs were 200k.

. Project manager/geologist for groundwater certification investigations

in support of air permits at several chemical facilities in the New

Orleans - Baton Rouge Industrial Corridor.

Walsh Environmental (03/98 to 04/00); Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Operations Manager, responsibilities included day-to-day operations,

personnel management, profit/loss for cost center. Key projects included

the following:

. Completed semiannual groundwater monitoring and reporting for a

petrochemical facility and two municipal solid waste facilities.

Includes groundwater sampling, groundwater statistics, and reporting.

. Managed a groundwater remedial program for a major chemical facility.

Program consisted of collecting groundwater samples from over 70

groundwater monitoring wells, review of analytical data (including

statistics), operation and maintenance (O&M) of eight groundwater

recovery wells and three horizontal recovery wells. Utilized enhanced

remediation techniques such as ORC/HRC with enhanced bioremediation

techniques. Contaminants consisted of light non-aqueous phase liquids

and dense non-aqueous phase liquids.

. Completed groundwater assessment (several phases) and submittal of

Feasibility Study for a chemical facility in Gramercy, Louisiana.

Groundwater remediation system consisted primarily of pump and treat

in conjunction with soil vapor extraction.

. Testified during a judiciary hearing for a Waste Management, Inc.

Solid Waste Permit Application for Coastal Plains Landfill in Texas

regarding groundwater conditions and geology for siting a permitted

facility's expansion.

. Completed a pilot study that involved a beneficial-use project for a

large chemical facility in Mobile, Alabama. Project consists of taking

the byproduct, combining with admixes to make an engineered backfill

and construction material for use on site.

Rust Environment & Infrastructure (06/94 to 03/98); Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Senior Geologist, responsibilities included all phases of project

management and completion of field activities. Key projects included the

following:

. Completed hydrogeological investigations for Waste Management

landfills in Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Texas (~90k per

site), which were completed in conjunction with solid waste permit

applications, which were approved by the respective state agencies.

. Prepared geological responses for solid waste permits for industrial

facilities in Texas and Louisiana.

. Prepared geological responses for solid waste permits for municipal

landfills in Mississippi, Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

. Completed a Fatal Flaw Study for a solid waste facility in south

Mississippi.

Law Engineering (03/91 to 06/94); Kennesaw, Georgia

Senior Geologist, responsibilities included all phases of project

management and completion of field activities. Key projects included the

following:

. Project manager for site assessment/remedial activities for 12

underground storage tank (UST) facilities in Louisiana, Mississippi,

and Alabama for a national oil company (~300k).

. Project manager for remedial activities for large lumber milling

company in north Louisiana, which consisted of removal and disposal of

26,000 cubic yards of contaminated soils. The COC was

pentachlorophenol.

. Project geologist during site assessment/feasibility investigations at

the Smith Farm Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and

Liability Act (CERCLA) site in Louisville, Kentucky.

. Project geologist during site assessment activities at the Cooper

Industries CERCLA site in Harlan, Kentucky.

. Project manager for eight Alabama Department of Environmental

Management Trust Fund sites in Alabama (~160k).

. Project manager for site assessment/remedial activities for eleven UST

facilities for Amoco in the Atlanta, Georgia area (250k).
