My duties, as they were with Performance Financial Group, are to train, manage, and
motivate loan officers, processors, and office staff; further, I needed to plan our marketing
strategies and keep up with business trends. My personal duties in sales was to council
borrowers as to the proper programs that were available to them and guide them through
the process. I needed to collect the proper documents as required by the particular lender
we chose, then sell the package to the lender. We kept the borrower fully informed at
every step so that there were no surprises at settlement. I was responsible for the
management of up to 15 people.

I was hired in New York and transferred to Pennsylvania to correct problems with a
Cadillac/Oldsmobile dealership. My job was to make bottom line improvements to the
store through increased sales and finance. After several years, the dealership
became so profitable that we were able to sell it for a considerable amount above
market. I was transferred back to New York to run two Nissan dealerships owned by
the firm. My family wanted, at that time, to stay in Pennsylvania so after a year of
traveling to New York I left the company and, relying on my financial background,
started Performance Group.
