office, warehouse and datacenter space. I direct the City of San Diego
recycling program, construction projects and manage the safety, health and
comfort of visitors and associates.
SDDPC is a non-profit corporation which is wholly owned by the City of San
Diego. We manage most of the City of San Diego's information technology
support and projects. These include maintenance of the main data center and
management of back-up sites, desktop services, computer support, IP
Backbone, 911 services, city financial management etc.

Projects Completed: 500kw Diesel Generator installation, workout facility,

program, energy saving installations, full landscape and hardscape redesign
and construction, lighting upgraded for energy efficiency, warehouse
remodel for optimal workflow, space planning for growth departments, HVAC
new Installations, Fleet management including purchasing, maintenance and
GPS installation, numerous remodels including: kitchens, coffee areas,
conference rooms, multiple bathrooms, executive boardroom, touchless and

I managed all facets of the facilities department as well as the shipping
and procurement departments. We were a multiple site facility with sites in
the UK, France, San Jose and Irvine. Raining Data is a high tech company
that created database management software that we shipped all over the
world.
Highlights: I managed two corporate relocations which included site
scouting, development, construction and relocation. I was responsible for
streamlining the shipping process - with workflow adjustments and software
redesign we saved 1 million dollars per year. I helped create a Computer
Aided Facility Management system using our database management software
which streamlined our facility operation over multiple sites. I negotiated
all contracts for real estate, services and goods. I was in charge of the
procurement of all corporate items, managed and negotiated the corporate
leases, and vendor accounts. I managed multiple tenant improvements and
construction projects that ranged from small office construction to full
data center construction. I also created a "Green" team, a safety and a
health committee as well as disaster response teams.
Pick Systems, Irvine Facilities and
Operations Manager

At Pick Systems, I was the manager in charge of the Facilities and
Operations department. This included all facility duties of a corporate
high tech environment as well as the production and purchasing of all media
for software sales to a global client list. Pick Systems developed and
produced software and technical publications for corporate clients and
resellers.
Highlights: I was in charge of the purchasing of all media for
distribution, the proofing of all manuals, the management and purchasing of
a large inventory of software, shipping materials, documentation as well as
all facility items needed for the work environments I managed many
corporate building improvements and construction projects. I oversaw the
sale of our corporate headquarters and the lease negations and subsequent
build-out of our new HQ. I was responsible for the complete redesign and re
structure of our production and shipping methods which saved the
corporation 2 million dollars the first year it was implemented. I was the
team leader responsible for writing the corporate IIPP and Business
Continuity plan. I also managed all contracts which related to facilities
and operations.
Elep Apparel Company, Huntington Beach Manager, Marketing &
Purchasing

Elep Apparel manufactured and sold sports apparel to teams and resellers
focusing on the soccer industry. I was in charge of the marketing
department and purchasing departments. I oversaw the manufacturing and
purchasing of all product lines. I also managed the marketing of all
product lines including print, web and talent acquisition. Elep Apparel was
a start-up company, with a high energy vibe and an extremely dynamic
environment.
Arena Soccer Parks, Orange Director
January 1993 - November 1996
Arena Soccer Parks was a soccer company dedicated to the creation and
promotion of soccer facilities in Southern California. I managed the build
-out and creation of their Orange facility and was part of the site
scouting and marketing teams. I managed all day to day operations of the
company. I managed 30 staff and had final authority on all marketing and
purchasing deals.
