Roberts & Company utilizes both my services and associate partners to do CFO level consulting, forensic accounting

investigations, company valuation and litigation support services; the firm also manages investments for several partnerships

focused on both public and private debt and equity. Highlighted projects: an MBO advisory for a $15 million semiconductor

testing lab, a 47% annual return on a Contra-Climate Change fund, debt financing for clothing manufacturing plants in the

Czech Republic and Mexico, and forensic investigations in divorce situations finding missing assets.

Short-Term Corporate Assignments

Chief Financial Officer 2009 to 2010 Haney Truck Line, LLC Yakima,

Washington

Haney is a truckload motor carrier majority owned by a private equity firm. Haney, founded in 1924, is one of the oldest and

largest trucking companies in the northwest United States. The company has 700 employees, over 500 trucks and revenue in

excess of $100 million. The company was in violation of its debt covenants in a deteriorating economic environment.

• Strategic Acquisition which increased its size by 25% and eliminated the number one competitor

• Development of budget and forecast to allow renegotiation of debt covenants forestalling default

• Hired and mentored professional accounting staff to increase general ledger control and reduce costs

• Changed the methodology of reporting, forecasting and budgeting to focus more on revenue characteristics

• Reduced auditing costs by 50% by putting the company into SOX compliance for internal control

Chief Financial Officer 2006 to 2008 Flexstar Technology, Inc. Fremont, California

Flexstar is an international high technology manufacturing company owned by a private equity firm. Flexstar designs,

manufactures and markets environmental quality control testing chambers for the electronics industry at multiple U.S. and

international facilities. I was brought in to facilitate the change of ownership transition.

• Developed new pricing strategy for Marketing and Sales that resulted in $3 million of new sales

• Accelerated cash flow by 50% by reducing DSOs from 180 days to 90 days

• Hired and mentored English and Mandarin speaking professional accounting and customer support staff

Chief Financial Officer 1988 to 1990 Freymiller Trucking, Inc. Bakersfield, California

Freymiller Trucking was a publically traded company on the NASDAQ with revenues of $100 million. The company, a

nationwide long-haul truckload company, specialized in refrigerated and time sensitive freight. The market capitalization had

fallen by half. My task was to quickly improve the performance and execution of the Accounting, Finance, Investor Relations

and IT departments.

• Doubled the market capitalization of the company by improving forecasting and investor relations

• Renegotiated senior debt covenants twice to maintain credit agreements and accommodate rapid growth

• Reduced monthly close from 25 to 8 days by streamlining financial reporting and using flexible budgeting
