Consumer Product Design

. Design and development of projection televisions. This included

electronic packaging of PCB assemblies, design of mounting and alignment

components, optical component mounting (precision die castings and O-ring

seals, etc.). Worked with a cross functional team to develop a modular

system that allowed multiple screen sizes with low tooling costs and

rapid design and manufacturing. This helped to make Philips the sales

leader for several years.

. Design and development of numerous products for the pet industry

including several hand held training transmitters and matching collar

mounted ruggedized/waterproof receivers, electronic fencing transmitters

and receivers, automated feeder and litter products and advanced pet

doors.

. Holder of seven patents and two patent applications.

. Design consulting of several new adjustable seat concepts for tricycles,

redesign of children's trampolines.

. Experience with prototype development including self made, CNC machining,

SLA, sand castings, etc.
