Responsible for all Purchasing for 6 Resort Time share properties including

all FFE, and OSE Procurement including new builds located in Escondido &

Palm Springs, Ca., Branson, Mo, and Cabo San Lucus, Mexico.

. Handled over 30 million dollars of new build construction at these

sites, remaining within budget on all projects

. Set up Corporate Contracts on office supplies, saving over $40,000.00

annually with additional rebates and incentives.

. Researched and interviewed all FFE & OSE vendors in Mexico to save on

Duties and tariffs and physically travelling to Mexico to check out

the logistics, saving approximately $200,000.00.

2007

Managed a new division of purchasing for Operating Supplies, including

budgeting, writing PO's, expediting of these projects for new hotels &

renovation projects. Further responsibilities included executing FFE Jobs

across the Country. Changing business conditions resulted in the

elimination of this position.

Senior Project Manager

2004 to 2007

Managed the purchasing of multiple hotel pre-opening and renovation

projects, including bidding, bid analysis, purchase orders, budgeting,

reviewing expediting and job cost report and interface with ownership,

design and contractors as necessary through the completion of the project.

. Handled the Purchasing projects of 6 Embassy Suite hotels with

Convention Centers across the Country, as well as 1 Renaissance Hotel

and 2 Marriott hotels for my client, John Q. Hammons Hotels. Remained

under budget on all of these projects, with an average per unit

accountable budget of approximately 20 million dollars. Earned letter

of recommendation from Group VP.

. Managed numerous million dollar projects for Harrah's Hotels in

Atlantic City area. Received commendation from Harrah's VP.

. Led a multimillion dollar renovation project at MGM Grand-Las Vegas on

Ritz Carlton Hotels, New York NY

2001 to 2004

Hired initially as Director of Purchasing for both Coconut Grove & South

Beach Properties. Because of delays in opening, assigned to a Corporate

task force to open 5 Ritz Carlton Hotels in Sarasota and Naples, Florida,

and New York City. Subsequently transferred to New York City as Area

Director of Purchasing.

. On assignment from the Corporate Office, opened the largest worldwide

Ritz Carlton property, the "Grand Lakes" in Orlando, ahead of schedule

and within budget.

. Simultaneously opened the JW. Marriott, 1000 room Orlando property,

within budget and within three weeks of scheduled opening date.

Purchasing Consultant - Rosewood Hotels and Resorts @ Little Dix Bay Resort

- Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands

2000 - 2001

As purchasing consultant, managed the logistics of purchasing, planning and

operation for this luxury property.

. Established and led the successful installation of a new computer

purchasing software system.

. Additionally set up OSE orders and drop shipments at three other

luxury properties within three island locations in the Caribbean

region.

Frenchman's Reef Marriott - St. Thomas, USVI

1999 - 2000

Recruited by a previous General Manager I had worked for as a consultant

for three months to review and update all Purchasing policy and procedures,

job descriptions and to handle the day to day purchasing responsibilities

for this 750 room property. Successfully completed assignment and

transitioned to Rosewood Hotels as Purchasing Consultant.

Director of Purchasing

Excalibur Hotel & Casino Las Vegas, NV 1998 - 1999

Responsible for the management of all purchasing for the hotel and casino,

consisting of 4032 rooms, seven restaurants, banquet facilities, five

bars, and a 1200 seat dinner theater. This included management of

purchasing, receiving, storerooms and warehouse operations with extensive

implementation of new policies and procedures.

. Responsible for all pre-opening purchasing for the Mandalay Bay Hotel

and Casino, consisting of a 3,800 room hotel and casino. In addition,

interviewed and successfully staffed the purchasing department of this

new hotel

. Managed the renovation project at Excalibur, which included 72 rooms

per week on a rotating basis.

. Won Manager of the Quarter in 1998 in recognition of my effective

management of both of the above projects

Lady Luck Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV

1997 - 1998

Responsible for all purchasing for hotel and casino including receiving,

storerooms, and warehouse operations for this 792 room, four restaurant and

one showroom property. Implemented new policies and procedures for time and

cost savings to the organization before property was sold.

Boca Raton Hotel & Clubs, Boca Raton, FL 1996 - 1997

Consulting position responsible of the supervision of purchasing for the

hotel and clubs consisting of a 963 room hotel, ten restaurants, five bars,

an 80,000 square foot banquet facility, and two off site country clubs with

food and beverage facilities. Supervised storerooms and warehouse.

Hacienda Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada

1996

Responsible for all purchasing for hotel and casino, consisting of 1,200

rooms, four restaurants, one showroom, and three bars, including

supervision of storerooms and warehouse operations. In addition, directed

the closure of this property to enable construction of the Mandalay Bay

Hotel and Casino.
