Foreclosure Processor
Gladstone Law Group
Boca Raton, Florida
RESPONSIBILITIES: I am responsible for requesting judgment figures;
generating the affidavit of indebtedness; as well as preparing all
assignments, MSJ's, defaults, and case dismissals. When needed, I also
assist in setting up new and inherited files.
September 2008 - April 2009
Paralegal
Law Office of Ben-Ezra & Katz, P.A.
Hollywood, Florida
RESPONSIBILITIES: I served as the point of contact for billing files to be
on-hold or closed, according to the client's instructions. The billing
entailed logging onto the client's system several times daily to obtain a
list of those files to be closed and billed due to loan payoff,
reinstatement, modification, or charge-off. For the files to be billed, I
immediately placed a closed or hold status on the files in the firm's
database and obtained a ledger detailing all disbursements on each file. To
further ensure that all disbursements were cost effective to the client, I
immediately notified other departments of the file's status before billing
the client. In addition to billing files, I processed large quantities of
mail pertaining to my team. Processing the mail included organizing each
document according to priority. For high priority items requiring
escalation, such as Notice of Tax Deed Sale, I contacted the client's
representatives by telephone to ensure that the

property taxes were paid by the client in a timely manner before the
property was to be sold at public auction. Additional items requiring
escalation included mail regarding files in litigation. Because time is of
the essence on all litigation matters, I immediately located the file(s)
and personally delivered the file(s) with the mail received to the
litigation paralegal or attorney.

Jr. Paralegal
Law Office of David J. Stern
Plantation, Florida
RESPONSIBILITIES: For my team's caseload of 1600, I monitored Service of

before proceeding with foreclosure action. On cases where individual
service was not completed, I prepared Notion of Action documents to
complete service via publication in local newspapers. For those defendants
that did not file an answer after being served, I prepared a Motion and
Order for Default. I coordinated hearing dates and times for the final
judgment hearings with Judge's Assistants. Additionally, I drafted
Assignment of Mortgages, Lost Note Affidavits, Affidavit of Indebtedness
and updated six client systems and the firm's client database with the
status of all cases on a daily bases.
