global purchase prices

3.9 million dollars per year savings

reduce scrap of materials in production

many common components for better pricing

. Verified and helped negotiate tooling costs to reduce cost

because of the increased steel cost, target was less than 20%

scrap from tooling

. Helped to identify tooling that could be modified to be more

efficient and produce less scrap, target was tooling with scrap

levels above 20%

. Was invited to Japan for a week of cross training and

negotiations of components purchased from our overseas vendors,

result was over 20 parts were commonized between 10 different

plants and sourced to one vendor which saved in tooling and

piece price cost
