Job Title: Senior Quality Engineer
I am confident that my skills and work experiences are an excellent
match for the position of
Senior Quality Engineer.
I am presently working at the Dana Holding Toledo Modules Assembly
Plant as the plant Quality
Engineer since March 2008, . I hold a Baccalaureate in Engineering from
the University of Toledo with Certifications that include Quality Engineer,
Six-Sigma Black Belt, and RAB ISO/TS Lead Auditor.
My past work experience includes 10 years as the Plant & Launch
Quality Engineer at JAC Products, Inc. where I reviewed and rated each
supplier for purchasing readiness. I also worked with the suppliers during
the APQP process, corrective actions for present product and launches.
Prepared our plant APQP/PPAP packages to achieve customer approval for
both new launches and engineering changes. Many times this included not
only present product plant daily duties, it also included special projects
for both JAC Corporate and the customer, such as a DOE, when requested.
Visit both suppliers and customers to handle any issues or concerns that
arise or customer new product launches. At both Dana and JAC
our production processes are based on Lean/Six-Sigma methodologies.
Additional responsibilities include GD&T analysis, SPC; requesting,
developing, and in some cases making small gauges for checking parts.
I would bring a broad range of Automotive Tier 1 Quality Management,
Supervisory, and Engineering skills, who is comfortable working
independently and as a team member. Additional experience includes leading
2 plants to ISO/TS 2002/9:16949 certifications.
