I am currently interested in finding a career in the field of mechanical
engineering. Your exciting and goal-oriented company stood out to me and I
immediately felt compelled to pursue this opportunity.
I am seeking a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the
University of Idaho, and will graduate May 2010. I have experience with
the design and application of experimental methods, including calibration
of several testing components. I also have practice in solid modeling,
using SolidWorks as well as CATIA.
My experience comes from mainly an academic stance. I am hoping to gain
the experience and knowledge it takes to prepare me for my career. I hope
to use and build on my skills as a team worker. I have years of experience
of problem solving through my on-campus involvement. My leadership roles
have taught me the importance of communication and patience. Being focused
and staying flexible has become the staple of my academic fortitude. I
believe, because I am able to balance such a variety of activities, it
shows my ability to handle pressured situations and deal with them in a
professional manner.
