Allen Bradley PLC Programming: Design of Automated System for Packet Sorter
System
- Designed an automation system which senses weight of the load and
classifies accordingly.
- System comprised of conveyor run by AC MOTOR, manometer for
calibration of liquid level and photo-electric sensors.
- Used the Bernoulli's Principle of Water Displacement under weight for
assessing the under and over weight packets.
- Controlled the system through PLC program designed in RSLOGIX from
Host-PC and successfully segregated the packets.
Embedded System MEDICAL ROBOTICS: Design of Vascular Compression System to
control Blood Flow in the Leg
- Designed an adjustable Pneumatic Compression Stocking to supply
patient with the desired level of compression.
- Interfaced the STOCKING with TI MSP430 and CC2500 MICRO-CONTROLLERS
for regulating the PRESSURE.
- Programmed the CONTROLLER in C/C++ to set the Data Baud Rate, Pin
Accessibility and Data Read/Write functions.
- Simulated and regulated the pressure with an array of FORCE SENSORS on
the ankle using EMBEDDED LINK IDE CC.
Distributed Control Systems (DCS) Design : MOBILE ROBOT Design and Path
Tracking
- Designed and assembled a Front Wheel Drive Mobile Robot for the
desired application.
- Designed the kinematics and controller for an unmanned vehicle in REAL
TIME WORSHOP, SIMULINK and C/C++.
- Interfaced the iSpace server and a Host- PC using TCP to obtain the
desired path through an image processing algorithm.
- Communicated the path to the vehicle using Bluetooth protocol and used
PID control to track the desired path.
- Implemented QUADRATURE PATH TRACKING AND OSTACLE AVOIDANCE techniques
on the mobile robot.
- Developed a GUI in JAVA to act as a user interface to control the
motor speeds and also track the vehicle path.
VEHICLE DRIVE TRAIN: Modeling the Power Train of an Electric Vehicle with
DIESEL ENGINE
Designed the mechanics and drive train for an Electric Vehicle with DIESEL
ENGINE in SOLIDWORKS.
Modeled the battery based on the State of Charge (SOC) and Open Circuit
Voltage specifications.
Simulated the vehicle performance over an Urban Dynamometer Driving
Schedule (UDDS).
Embedded Systems Design: Design and Testing of Blower and Defrost Control
PCBs for HVAC Systems
Analyzed and designed the logic and timing analysis for Blower and Defrost
Controllers to meet the Requirement Specs.
