Reporting to the GM of the Location Business Unit, direct a global

(offshore) software team of 36 that includes:

- The development and QA of the Location Emergency product line. A

highly scalable and highly available software system for Emergency 9-1-1

support in telecommunication networks that require 99.999% uptime.

Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) utilizing Sun servers, load

balancers, Oracle, Java, web services with an AJAX front-end.

- The continuing engineering team (development and QA) - responsible for

24x7 engineering support of all Location products.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

. Led an Agile (Scrum), cross-functional, multi-location team that

delivered the Next Generation Emergency 911 system with VOIP support

in 5 months.

. Developed initiatives and organizational improvements that enabled the

offshore India team to scale efficiency and quickly to adapt to an

increased customer demand.

. Developed corporate wide metrics and scorecards for the CE and CDC

teams that tied metrics directly to financials leading to process
