1997-2007

Manager Management Reporting in 2007 at Texas City, TX facility.

After a major construction project and unit upgrades, Texas City was

ranked in the top five out of seventeen facilities operated by Valero

Energy (230,000 barrels per day facility). Supervised four employees.

. Assisted plant management with annual budget and five year forecasting

plan developing Key Performance Indicators aimed at reducing operating

costs and improving reliability and profitability. Reporting of actual

costs and indices to forecasted costs and indices on a monthly and annual

basis with explanation for variances. Solomon reporting and maintenance

cost reporting.

. Yield and Inventory balancing used for daily profit and loss reporting

in SAP. Reconciliation of receipts and shipments of products for

refinery with scheduling department. Transfer pricing for products.

. Volume and pricing settlement, per contract, using daily natural gas

prices for purchases of natural gas, hydrogen, and oxygen for two

facilities; including baseload and swing volumes on a monthly basis.

. Assisted Project Engineering department with an EPC contract for the

construction of Coker Unit, along with associated tankage and piping,

which was completed under budget. Audit invoices to EPC rates, third

party documentation, vendor payment request, SAP cost reporting, and
