AMI Metals, Inc.
Position: Application Development Manager/Senior Developer (November 2003 to present)
Job duties: AMI utilizes an ERP system geared towards the metal industry for all of its internal Sales, Inventory, Accounting,
Purchasing, and Operations departments.
Accomplishments:
As a Senior Web/Database Developer, I played a significant role in the design and development of many internal web-
based .NET applications that integrated with the company’s ERP system. The result was the automation of many formerly
time-consuming business processes which allowed many employees to focus on more business-critical tasks.
Designed and Developed an accounting reporting solution implementation for company branch in Belgium which
guaranteed compliance with the financial reporting requirements set forth by the European Union and the Belgian
Government. The project comprised of highly efficient Transact SQL, Stored-Procedures, and SSIS Packages, that
interfaced GL, AR, and AP data between the US and European ERP systems for a 3rd-party reporting platform (Piton).
Several projects consisted of web and Windows-based applications that audited corporate activities, automated shipping
notifications for customers and simplified data archiving utilities. My responsibilities included inventory tracking
applications, automated EDI x12 notifications, and an inventory parts cross-referencing system, all of which yielded
increases in productivity and efficiency by simplifying crucial tasks across multiple departments.
Developed and Implemented a B2B .Net application which enabled the company’s European customers to automatically
enter sales orders into its ERP system via FTP using a custom-built Order Processing Gateway. This reduced manual
data entry errors by nearly 98% and saved the company’s internal sales reps significant time daily by eliminating the need
for manual sales order entry tasks.
• As an Application Development Manager, I spent the latter 3 years growing and expanding AMI’s IT department. Solely
responsible for all aspects of hiring (and firing), employee performance evaluations, and teach back, cross-training, and
mentoring. Architected and Implemented company-wide upgrade of an existing organizational reporting solution from Crystal
Reports 8.5-10 to Business Objects XI, and finally to MSSQL Server 2005 Reporting Services. Managed multiple projects
which replaced numerous paper-based business processes with integrated .NET web applications, and implemented an
efficient Relational Database Solution which allowed data replication from an Oracle-based ESP system to Microsoft SQL
Server. These accomplishments allowed AMI to interact with its end-users, customers, and satellite facilities worldwide in real-
time utilizing a web-based reporting system via SQL Services Integration.
Majestic-Systems Integrated
Position: Software Consultant (October 2002 - October 2003)
Job duties: Contracted by the State of Tennessee’s Commerce & Insurance Department to re-write and re-architect their existing

(running on UNIX) – through thorough scrubbing/cleansing the web project was reduced to a mere 38% of its previous size utilizing
smart HTML coding and the implementation of template web pages. This saved the department’s webmaster considerable time
when maintaining the website. Solely developed an encryption/decryption software application for sensitive information via email
that would use a random number generated algorithm against ASCII character codes. For instance “Encrypted Text” would be
encrypted to “xGl!#d4js1DI_&2*@6#$L4:NotxV@<iGBkcuk?klWc”
